Revelation Studies

Contrary to what most Pastors teach, most of the prophecies in Jesus Revelation have been historically fulfilled (historicism). This makes more sense than saying nothing happens for 2,000 years, and then it’s all fulfilled during the last few years (futurism).

  1. Hi David,
    How are you doing?
    It’s me again! 🙂
I was thinking about the 7th bowl that is poured in the “air”, I know that the “air” is ref. by Paul as the spiritual realm where demons operate and I see that as a strong possibility but I was thinking about all that is happening in our world today in terms of the Media and the information channels and how they are having their power questioned/diminished by all that is happening…
Can it be that the 7th bowl is a blow to the media power which will be eliminated so people will get to know things the way they are and that will lead to the III WW ? If people in Europe and Muslins get convinced by evidence (because the media lose control over them) that the Jesuits are playing them and causing all that mess, that will lead them to potentially destroy the harlot, as prophecy states….. Have you heard something like that before?

    Thanks,
    Ricardo

  2. Hi David,
    It’s me again.
As I continue in my studies, It came to my mind that the references to “cities” in Rev. 16 could be to “religions”.
Since the Catholic church is called Babylon and “mother” and that each horn of that first beast had a “name of blasphemy”, couldn’t be that the pouring of the 7th vial on the air (the spiritual healm of the Devil) would lead to people finally being able to “see” what Babylon did to humanity, therefore they would revolt against it and burn it.
I think something like humanity remembering how Rome caused the two WW, plus the plague of Islam plus a potential near future financial meltdown, etc…
Have you heard something like this?

      • Thank you for that David.
        I still don’t have a complete picture about armaggedom…
In Rev. 16 it’s said that the 3 spirits would gather the world against Christ but stops there, then in 19 We have Jesus coming and fighting…
Can it be that the gathering is a spiritual gathering, like we have today – the Globalization and the “positioning of the troops” is more a positioning ref. acceptance vs rejection of God.
I say this for I see that every aspect needed for the NWO is blasphemy against God, therefore “gathering in armaggedom” would be this situation we are today, were people are taking decision if the embrace NWO or they embrace the word of God when this is concluded, God pours the 7th vial in the air, the smoke is lifted and all see what the Catholic Church have done to humanity leading them to charge against the Catholic Church with responds with a Nuclear war (heavy hail) at the end of which Jesus comes …
        Does it makes sense?

        • Ricardo, I see the three spirits in the 6th bowl as the three World Wars, which will result in the world being pushed into the One World Government of the 7th bowl. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/the-three-unclean-spirits-of-the-sixth-bowl-of-revelation-16/

In the One World Government, Satan will use the Roman beast to once again try to wipe out Messiah’s church; just like Satan used the Roman Emperor’s to kill 10 million saints, and the Roman Emperor’s caused over 50 million saints to be killed.

Satan knows that Messiah is returning, and he will have amassed the armies of the world, to fight against him; in the battle of Armageddon. Maybe they will portray it as part of a supposed alien invasion, who knows.

          • Hi David,
            Thank you for this perspective.
How do you reached the conclusion that in fact they will be able to implement the NWO?
Rev. 16 finishes saying that the spirits gather the people but nothing is said (?) that they took control of the world again….
That is my difficult right now….
            Can you expand on that?

            Tks,
            R

          • Ricardo, the 7th bowl says that there will be a great earthquake, which points to great political upheaval. It will be so great that all of the countries and great cities will bow in subservience to the One World Government. The Jesuit’s One World Government is split into three city-state corporations, which are used to control the world. This is what is being symbolized when it says that the Great City is split into three parts. Here is the study. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/revelation-16-7th-bowl-judgment/

          • David,
Yes, I got your understanding and I agree that the heavy hail seems to indicate a nuclear war but again, I can’t see anything in Revelation indicating that the Antichrist will have again power over the whole Europe (or World?) and persecute and kill the Church. We know he is trying hard but by the words in rev. 16 and 19, I can’t see that.
I really don’t want to use Pike’s “Prophecies” for it’s extra biblical and it was probably written to deceive too…. There is not a single word like “saints in heaven glorifying God” or “time of tribulation” indicating huge persecution after the 6th vial…
If you have other bible passages supporting your position, please share for with the passages we have I’m inclined to believe that yes, their push for a NWO will lead us to WW III but that is AFTER the pouring of the 7th vial or as a consequence of it, which means the final Judgement of God, just after that hail it comes the Judgement of the Harlot (rev. 17 and 18) and Jesus coming on Rev. 19…. So to me it seems that the battle is right here and right now. Preaching the gospel under intense opposition and temptation.

  3. David, I really enjoy your Studies on the Scriptures. It made me think differently of I view the End Times now. Do you have other Studies on the Bible, besides the End Times?

  4. Thank you David. Previously I read your “All Roads lead to Rome” study, which I found extremely interesting, so that I printed it and shared copies with some of my more receptive Christian friends. I also looked at your study quoting that 97% of Ashkenazi Jews are not descendants of Abraham, and study Not to support Israel, which rather staggered me! as I and many of my fellow Christians have been Israel supporters and attend Messianic fellowships.
However today I’ve just looked at your Daniel 70th week study and your Daniel chapter 12 study, and glimpsed through this magnificent “End Times Deceptions Study List”, together with some of the Comments / Replies. — I am amazed. I still have to go through these in detail, but my reaction is “Release” and “Joy”, that so many of the so-called puzzling Scriptures, for which there are a multitude of conflicting interpretations being put forward by men, the result of which is “CONFUSION”, which I believe is the enemy’s intention! I constantly affirm to all fellow- believers as the Scripture says Prophecy (The Scriptures) are not subject to “Private” interpretation, but only to the interpretation by the Holy /Spirit, who inspired it’s writing.
Thank you for your Studies and making them available on your web-site, which I think I will be studying a great deal in future.

Meantime, I have a couple of questions for you David. Previously I spent some time on this web site, but I did not find out who you are, so where exactly do I look for that information?
Secondly I would like to see your explanation of the fulfillment of the 6 Points detailed in Daniel 9:24 as previously I had argued e.g. with the 7th Day Adventists, that they had not been fulfilled to Israel (Daniel’s people) as a nation. (I think I am grasping that Jesus fulfilled them at His 1st Coming — But I would appreciate your explanation). Thank you. God bless you! Neil

    • Thank you for your comment Neil 🙂 Just like you, I’ve had to learn all of these things during the last few years; most of which are contrary to what I was taught by my Pastors, including the topic of Israel.

The enemy has been busy, the deceptions are many, which is why there are so many studies on this website.

Most of what I teach has come from the great theologians of history, who wrote whole Bible commentaries. They were all historicists. It’s only during the last 200 years that the deceptions of Futurism have taken hold in the church.

You can read about me on the About page. http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/about/

And here is a link to the study that shows how Messiah fulfilled all of the demands of Daniel 9:24, as the Jews could never have done it. http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/jesus-fulfilled-daniel-924-during-the-70th-week-of-daniel/

There is a definite peace that comes from knowing the truth about prophecy fulfillment, because you understand that most prophecies in the Bible have already been fulfilled and are not future, and because you can see how Messiah has worked through His people to battle against the enemy.

Contact me anytime with questions or insight about the studies.
May Elohim bless you in your pursuit of truth!

  8. Dear David,

I have a couple of questions that I am not able to find under your study subjects (not to say they aren’t there but there is a LOT to search through!):

    1. Do you have any study guides on the general subject of ‘Dispensationalism’. I know this is a huge subject and there are many variations. I just don’t know whether any form of dispensationalism is correct, or the whole concept is flawed. Certainly God has dealt with humanity in different ways in different periods of history – whether that qualifies as dispensationalism I do not know. Maybe it’s just an academic term that has no real application for us today.

    2. Future Israel. I realise that Israel is currently an illegitimate geo-political construct, and the ‘jews’ that inhabit it are not real Jews. Some pastors e.g. John MacArthur (whom I respect greatly but believe is wrong in his eschatology) teach the future fulfillment of God’s promises to a physical nation of Israel, that Israel will repent, they will evangelise the world, that Christ will return with His saints (who have been previously raptured) to a new physical Jerusalem where he will reign with His saints & Israelites for 1,000 years on earth. After this 1,000 years comes God’s final judgement, wherein the current heavens and earth will be destroyed by fire, and God will create a new heaven and earth, which will constitute His eternal kingdom. (My synopsis is probably not 100% accurate).

    3. Replacement Theology – is it a fallacy?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Reply
    • Hi Markus, Dispensationalism is a false narrative about the covenants of the Bible. The Old and New Testament should really be called the Old and New Covenant. The Old Covenant scriptures pointed to the promised Messiah, who would atone for the sins of those who believed by faith. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, David… all believed by faith, and so they were saved. Most Israelites/Jews did not believe by faith, and instead tried to earn salvation by following the Law, and were lost.

Messiah came to offer a New Covenant, which really was a renewed covenant, as it was the same covenant that the remnant has always been saved by. He came to ratify that covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb. He ended the need for temple sacrifices, as He is the one-time sacrifice for our sins.

Messiah and His disciples preached the New Covenant to the Jews first, during the 70th week of Daniel. And many Jews were saved. 3,000 on the day of Pentecost. The disciples continued preaching the death and resurrection of Messiah to the Jews for the next 3 1/2 years after Messiah ascended to heaven. But when the Jews stoned Stephen to death, it caused the disciples to scatter around the world. And from that time forward you read in Acts 8 and beyond, that the Gospel was preached both to Jews and to the Gentile nations.

Today the remnant believes in Messiah’s atoning work alone, but the majority of people reject Him and are lost.

Jews forbid one another to read the prophecies in Isaiah 53, Daniel 9 and the New Testament, so they blind themselves to the truth about their Messiah.

People like John MacArthur teach about a future 70th week of Daniel, when God will deal with the Jews, but that is a deception from the Jesuits of Rome.

There is no separate dispensation for Jews. There will be no future time period when Messiah deals just with the Jews. The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled from 27-34 A.D., when it was confirmed with the Jews that Messiah is the promised One. Here is the 70th week of Daniel covenant study http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/70-weeks-of-daniel-covenant-deception/

There has always been a remnant who believed. The only thing that has changed is that Jesus offered His New Covenant, where He put His law in our minds and wrote it on our hearts. His remnant, His Chosen People, have always trusted by faith.

Everything that was promised to Abraham and his descendants is offered to them in the New Covenant.

A remnant has always believed by faith and were saved. The rest tried to be saved by the law and they were lost. That’s true of the Israelites, the Jews, and Gentiles today.

The promises that were made to Abraham are ultimately to those who believe by faith, not his physical descendants.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, etc. all believed that the Messiah would come and atone for their sins. We look back on that event.

Why do Christians focus on Jews in Israel, when the Word of God says that Jesus made both – Jews and gentiles, one church?

Ephesians 2:14-22 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both (Jew and Gentile) one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised.

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”

Romans 9:6-8 says Abraham’s fleshly descendants ARE NOT the children of God.

“For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”

Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of God.

“Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”

Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Jesus Christ.

“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say,“And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.”

Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Christ (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Paul is clearly telling us that true Israel, true Jews, believe by faith, and so inherit the promises made to father Abraham.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Everyone who believes in Christ by faith, are the Chosen People of God. They will inherit Holy Jerusalem when Christ returns.

The promise is yet to be fulfilled. It has not been fulfilled by Zionist Israel, which was created by the enemy to deceive the world.

  9. David, thank you, thank you, thank you!

My favorite parts of the Bible were always end time prophesies, especially Revelations. As a child, it was my favorite book to read. Of course in my church upbringing, I have learned what most of us have…black and white. However, I have always had questions. My thirst for answers had me digging deeper into my studies.

Lately, I’ve been keeping up with current events, especially with the Pope coming to America. I live in a very catholic region, I have never been one. My father was raised catholic then got saved in a pentecostal church where he met my mother. My siblings and I were raised pentecostal but have/had catholic family and friends. By God’s grace and the working of the Holy Spirit, my father’s catholic family have all been delivered from this cult.

Basically, what and why I wanted to comment is this. This particular subject has been on my heart a long time. Monday morning on my drive to work, not even particularly thinking about this topic, a revelation hit me. I felt like a ton of bricks was placed on my chest and my stomach became angry feeling. Suddenly this came to me, it’s not WHO is the antichrist but WHAT! And suddenly the answer came, catholicism, particularly RC. I shared my revelation with some friends from my church and they agreed my theory was on to something. That evening, I stumbled on your study exposing the RC. Confirmation!! How wonderful God is! He truly gives wisdom and discernment to those who seek. I look forward to reading up on the many studies that you’ve shared here. Everything I read is in some way what I have wondered myself. I thought I was nuts to question if the 7 years was actually 7 literal years, because as we know 1 day= 1000 years. Why would some things be symbolic but Revelations, the most symbolic book, be taken literal? I have always wondered if it hadn’t already started many years ago. I have always had a hard time believing that people would be deceived into getting 666 tattooed on their forehead knowing that many Christians proclaim it’s the mark of the beast. People can’t be blindsided by something so obvious. The deception is bigger than that!

I believe God gave me the fascination with end time prophesies to help be a voice for the truth. Something in me, even as a small child, told me that I would play an important role. Maybe not a big one, and that’s fine, but one that stands up and helps deliver the truth! I have family still deceived by those teachings, a family of ministers preaching this to their congregations. Please pray that their eyes will be opened so they in turn can share the truth too! I can’t thank you enough for your faithful diligence!

    • Thank you for your comment Erica 🙂 I’m blessed to know that the studies have helped you. Here is a new study series on the fulfillment of Revelation that I am working on, which explains it in more details, to see how all of the pieces fit together. http://christianitybeliefs.org/revelation-timeline-decoded

Sadly most Christians are blinded by the Jesuits’ deceptions of Futurism which point to a future fulfillment of Revelation, a future 70th week of Daniel, and a future one-man antichrist.

All of that causes them to not look back at history to see how the Popes and Jesuit Generals of Rome have fulfilled Bible prophecy to a T, and that they are the enemy of Messiah and His Church.

I pray for the visitors to the website, that they scales over their eyes would be removed, so that they can see the truth, so that they can fight against the enemy to redeem souls, and so that they are prepared for our Messiah’s return.

  10. Thank you David for such an exhaustive reply. It helps greatly.

My hat goes off to you, for all the study and forensic investigative work that you have done. I really cannot fathom how anyone studying the bible unassisted could ever come to sound conclusions on matters of prophecy, history and eschatology. I only hope that the true disciples of Christ receive all that they need from scripture, by inspiration from the Holy Spirit, and by being guided to the work of genuine truth seekers like you.

Thanks again & may God bless you and your work, and guide you into all truth.

    • Thank you for your comment Mark 🙂 I smile when I look at the study list, for I can’t comprehend all of those studies got posted through me during the last few years. Four years ago I didn’t know any of this.

I simply persist in seeking truth and share what I’ve been shown. I learned from some of the great theologians of history, and I’m blessed to stand on their shoulders, to blow the trumpet and shout out the truth.

I dare say that most christians don’t study the Bible. And the enemy has deceived them through repeating the same end times prophecy narrative. They hear it from their Pastor, from Pastors on TV and radio, from books and movies, etc.

I was just reading in John this morning and as He drew near to Jerusalem to be sacrificed, He proclaimed that the eyes of many Jews had been blinded, so that they could not see truth.

I think that we are at that point now, where people have had plenty of time to find the truth, but now many eyes are blinded and they cannot see it. All we can do is plant seeds of truth and pray.

Grace and peace and love to you in Yahusha/Jesus mighty name!

  11. Hello David.

Thank you enormously for your diligent research and humility. I’ve only recently discovered your work, after commencing a personal study of eschatology, and being quite unconvinced, biblically, about the pre-tribulation rapture that is so prevalent even in respected evangelical churches.

So now to the question that still has me stumped, and I have read many of your articles – who/what do you see as the false prophet? Would that be the current black-cum-white pope, Francis, or is he the beast?

Kind regards & God bless you,

    Mark.

    • Thank you for your comment Mark 🙂 I’m blessed to know that the studies have helped you. The antichrist and False Prophet are a position like the President of the United States or the King of England.

The Popes of Rome have historically fulfilled the position of the antichrist sea beast of Revelation 13, since they were empowered in 538 A.D.

The Popes had their power removed in 1798 A.D., when the Jesuits caused Napoleon’s army to take him captive.

Since then the Jesuit Generals, the Black Popes, have controlled the Vatican and the White Pope. They pretend to be Christians (lamb-like), but they worship Satan the dragon.

Jesuit priests have spread around the world to now cause 1.2 Billion Catholics to revere/worship the Pope. These False Prophets now deceive 1/6th of the world’s population with a false salvation message. These people have the mark of the beast on them, as they obey the commands of the Pope and trust in him for salvation.

And Jesuit Pope Francis is now drawing Protestants, the Orthodox Church, Muslims, and all people groups under the power of Rome.

The Jesuits are the source of false prophecy teaching of a future 70th week of Daniel featuring a one-man antichrist, as to deflect blame away from the Roman Church. They are False Prophets.

So the Jesuit Generals, who are the earth beast of Revelation 13, are the False Prophet. There will one final one, perhaps Adolfo Nicolás, the current one.

The Jesuits control the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank of Settlements, the Federal Reserve Bank, and Central Banks in almost every country. In their New World Order, they will control the monetary system, to dictate who buys and sells.

Here are some prophecy explanations of the earth beast of Revelation 13 from as far back as the 5th century, which describe the Jesuits of Rome, which of course did not even exist yet.

Andreas, Bishop of Caesarea in Cappadocia, and expositor in the Greek Church during the latter of the fifth century, explains after Iranaeus the two-horned beast as Antichrist’s false prophet, “exhibiting a show of piety, and with pretense of being a lamb when in fact a wolf.” (History Unveiling Prophecy, Henry G. Guinness)

Primasius, Bishop of the Carthaginian province, in his 6th century “Commentary on the Apocalypse” lays stress on Antichrist’s affected impersonation of, or substitution of himself for Christ; and blasphemous appropriation to himself of Christ’s proper dignity.

That of course refers to the first beast of Revelation 13, the Popes of the Roman Catholic Church, who call themselves the Vicar of Christ, the substitute of Christ. They proclaim to forgive sins and that salvation is only through the Catholic Church.

Then Primasius seems to view the second beast of Revelation 13, the two-horned beast, as ecclesiastical rulers, “hypocritically feigning likeness to the Lamb, in order the better to war against him: and by the mask of a Christian profession, under which mask the devil puts himself before men, acting out the Mediator.” (Elliot, Horae, IV, p. 342)

This describes the Jesuits of Rome, who call themselves the “Society of Jesus” but are really the “Society of Satan.”

The venerable Bede, who died in 735 A.D., similarly interprets in his “Commentary on the Apocalypse,” the lamb-like beast of Revelation 13, as meaning “Antichrist’s pseudo-Christian false prophets.”

“He shews the horns of a lamb, that he may secretly introduce the person of the dragon. For by the false assumption of sanctity, which the Lord truly had in Himself, he pretends that a matchless life and wisdom are his. Of this beast the Lord says, ‘Beware of false prophets’ which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.” (Bede on the Apocalypse, Ch. XIII, p. 11)

Ambrose Anspert, a Latin expositor in the 8th century, interpreted the second beast of Revelation 13 as “signifying the preachers and ministers of Antichrist; feigning the lamb, in order to carry out their hostility against the Lamb; just as Antichrist too, the first beast’s head wounded to death, would, he says, exhibit himself pro Christo, in Christ’s place.” (Elliot, Horae, IV, p. 351)

The earth beast, the False Prophet, the Jesuit General, controls the world covertly. They use many front organizations to hide their power. I hope that helps you see who they are.

    • Thank you for your comment Gabu 🙂 I’m blessed to know that you are benefiting from the studies. I too hate deception and there are many of them in regard to prophecy fulfillment.

My studies show that there are two separate instances of when the ‘mark of the beast’ is fulfilled, one that was referred to in Revelation 14; and the other that is mentioned in Revelation 13.

Click on this link to read the Revelation Fulfillment Timeline, to see how the Revelation 14 application of the mark of the beast was fulfilled. This will show you what it really means, which is different than what most Pastors teach.

Grace and peace to you in Christ’s name,
      David
