Nebuchadnezzar’s Neo-Babylon Sacks Jerusalem

This Christianity beliefs video from The Fuel Project tells the story of Israel’s destruction by the Babylonian army.

Nebuchadnezzar was a ranking officer in the army of Babylon and oversaw the restoration of the temple to Marduk, king of gods and the Babylonian Pantheon.

Then he ventured to expand the Babylonian empire and they sacked Jerusalem and burnt the temple, as the prophet Jeremiah had forewarned.

He took 10,000 of the Jerusalem’s best craftsman and left the rest of the Israelites behind.

Nebuchadnezzar built the Ishtar gate with 337 images of dragons, and in pagan numerology 337 means hell, so this gate in a sense means “the gate to hell“.
