Revelation: The Fuel Project Guide Part 13 – The Seventh Seal – Preparations For The Day of Wrath

The Fuel Project study guide to the Book of Revelation.

In this video Mark says that the seventh seal of Revelation represents end-times preparations for the Day of Wrath being put into place.

Mark’s explanations of the seventh seal of Revelation is biblically and historically inaccurate.

Here’s the proper fulfillment of the 7th seal

Revelation 8:1, “When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.  In the context of the historical fulfillment of the seals of Revelation, when Constantine gave the Edict of Milan in 313 A.D., it gave liberty to the Christians, and there was peace for a little while. “And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” So why did the Lord switch from Seals to Trumpets? In the Old Testament, the blowing of trumpets was often used to proclaim that God was about to pronounce judgment upon a wicked system, city, country or people.

The seventh seal is divided into seven Trumpet judgments, as the Lord sent the Goths, Vandals, Huns, Heruli, Saracens and Turks, to invade and scourge the Roman territory.

Mark says that the 7th seal of Revelation represents the “justice to come,” but as you’ve seen in the previous studies, Jesus executed justice against the Roman empire causing it to collapse, and He will continue to pour out His wrath during the 7 trumpet judgments.

The Lord was angry at those who killed His followers, but He didn’t wait 2,000 years to execute justice.

The prayers of Christians who suffered persecution at the hands of the Romans, were collected, offered up to God, and our Lord has already executed justice on behalf of the martyrs who were killed by the Roman Empire.

Mark says that Christians should love our enemies, not hate them, but the reality is that many Christians today hate Muslims and have no problem with our military killing them. Mark is right that there is power in Christians prayers.

But most Christians don’t even know who the enemy is, so they can’t effectively pray against them. To understand who the enemy is, read Antichrist In The Temple Deception

Mark says that the only people who will be left on the earth during the 7 trumpet judgments will be those who have rejected Christ and the 144,000 Jews.

But as you’ve seen, the seals applied to the Roman Empire during the 2nd – 4th centuries, so Mark’s assessment is invalid.

And he is implying that the Church has been raptured, which is wrong, because the 7th seal of Revelation was opened around the end of the 4th century.

You are so right. My mother used to pray for me constantly because I was courting disaster with my life style. Many times I almost “bought a ticket” but was snatched out of the jaws of the lions. I am now a born again Christian and I take the Bible seriously 100% and your teaching on Revelation, I believe is true. She would ask Almighty God for protection for me and He DID and He still does. It’s so amazing that you mention this in your teaching.
