Revelation: The Fuel Project Guide Part 4 – The Throne Room & The Scroll
The Fuel Project study guide to the Book of Revelation.
In this video Mark describes the heavenly scene that Jesus showed to John.
Revelation 1:1 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.”
They must shortly take place, not 2,000 years in the future!
Mark’s study of Revelation skipped over Jesus’ letters to the 7 churches in chapters 2 and 3, which are prophecies about the future, not just words to the current churches.
The seven church eras have spanned from when Revelation was written until Jesus return, and they describe the state of the church during that era.
We live in the era of the Church of Laodecia, where Jesus calls us lukewarm, wretched, miserable, naked, poor and blind. Read The Seven Churches of Revelation
He implies that Revelation 5 is saying that the whole world is about to be judged, but it does not say that.
As you will see in the studies on the seals, trumpets and bowls, Jesus used the seals and trumpets to judge the Roman Empire, and He used the first five bowls to judge the Papal Church.
So God’s Revelation judgments are not poured out on the whole world, but rather on the evil systems that Satan had empowered.
Our Lord is not slack. He has already executed justice for the martyrs that were killed by the Roman Empire and the Roman Papal Church.
