Revelation: The Fuel Project Guide Part Part 8 – The Fourth & Fifth Seals – Death
The Fuel Project study guide to the Book of Revelation.
In this video Mark says that the fourth and fifth seals of Revelation 6 signifies an end-times period of death.
Mark’s explanations of the fourth and fifth seals of Revelation 6 are biblically and historically inaccurate.
In the previous study, you learned that the 3rd Seal of Revelation 6 represents the gloom and despair that the Roman people were under, due to the excessive taxes to pay for wars.
In this study you will learn that the true historical fulfillment of the 4th seal represents 1/4th of the Romans dying from famine and pestilence from 250-300 A.D.
And the true historical fulfillment of the 5th seal represents the Smyrna church martyrs that were killed by the Roman Emperors.
The fourth seal is in Revelation 6:8, “I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.”
I’ll cover the real fulfillment of the fourth seal of Revelation, and then I will comment on some of the points Mark made.
Remember that the Lord Jesus is judging the pagan Roman Empire because they killed millions of Christians. He is avenging justice for their deaths.
The color of the horse represents the condition of the Roman people at that time, and the description of the rider represents the cause of their condition.
The pale horse represents an era of death in the Roman Empire. Again, it’s not speaking of the whole Earth, just the Roman Earth.
“Hell” or “Hades” is better translated as the grave, as many people died.
Acts 2:27 says “For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption,” meaning Jesus was in the grave.
‘Helling your potatoes‘ means a farmer was going to dig a hole and bury them in the ground.
The pale horseman rode force and the Roman Empire crumbled into the most dreadful state of disorder and chaos, where their society had almost completely broken down.
At one time 5,000 people were dying every day.
Historian Edward Gibbon recorded that one quarter (a fourth of the earth) of the population of the entire Roman Empire died of famine, plaque, pestilence, and of the violence.
So you can see the Jesus was talking about 1/4 of the Roman Empire dying, and it’s not about the end times.
While applying the 4th and 5th seals of Revelation to the end-times, Mark pointed out that in 1991, there were 1.5 million Christians in Iraq, and now there are only 150,000.
Not to get off topic, but it’s important to bring this up, because Mark is basically pointing primarily to Muslims as being responsible for Christians being killed.
So let’s look at what has happened in Iraq since 1991.
The U.S. launched two major wars against it, where a million or more civilians were killed, not to mention many Iraqi soldiers were killed.
Let’s be clear about something. The Jesuits of the Papal Church control the U.S., and they cause our military to make war with other countries.
They do this to take control of the country and their assets, to push them into their New World Order.
And they do this to target Christians in those countries.
Some of the hardest hit areas in Iraq where civilians were killed, were the places that had the most Christians, so many were killed or fled to another country.
Do you now see why the Christian population in Iraq would have been reduced so dramatically?
Do you see that it was not because of radical Muslims, but it was because of the U.S. military?
The U.S now uses drone strikes in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which kills 50 civilians for every target.
The U.S. is considered a “Christian” nation, so the Muslims retaliate by killing Christians.
Can you see how Satan is causing Christians and Muslims to hate each other?
This will lead to WW III, which will pit Christian America against Muslim countries.
Okay, moving onto the fifth seal of Revelation, which Mark says represents end times martyrdom.
Revelation 6:9-10, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”
The reason that Jesus opened the first four seals was to avenge the blood of the 10 million martyrs who had been killed by the Roman Empire.
There are two groups of martyrs spoken of in Revelation. The first was those who were killed by the Roman Empire.
The second group were killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition came, when from 50-100 million martyrs were slain by Papal Rome and the countries that they controlled.
The first four seals of Revelation were symbolic, which means that the 5th one is too.
So these saints aren’t continually under the altar crying out to God to avenge them.
When they receive their reward, they won’t have tears. How can they be in heaven, gazing on the glory of Jesus, and literally be crying day and night?
Genesis 4:10 says that Abel’s blood cries out to God from the ground. Since Abel was dead, it’s obviously symbolic.
And our Lord was faithful in avenging their deaths from His sake, as He poured out His wrath on the Roman Empire.
The Pagan Roman persecutions ended when Constantine issued the Edict of Milan in 313 A.D., which gave liberty to the Christians.
