Jesuit End Times Antichrist Deception

This end times deception page will explain how the concepts of a one-man end-times Antichrist in a 7-year tribulation period became so prevalent, after 1800 years of Biblical teaching that knew nothing of the sort.

You will learn how the Jesuits of the Roman Catholic Church manipulated Bible prophecy to create an end-times Antichrist, in order to deflect blame away from them as the Antichrist system.

The Beasts of Daniel and Revelation study reveals that the Roman Catholic Church is the ‘beast of Revelation‘, the ‘Little Horn of Daniel‘, and the Pope, the ‘son of Perdition‘.

That’s not to say that there won’t be an end times False Messiah, but the truth is that Satan’s Antichrist beast has been waging war against Jesus and Christians since 538 A.D.

This study will explain how the Jesuits have pushed their deceptive Antichrist concepts during the last 500 years, so that they are taught to Pastors at seminary, and then preached to their congregations.

The end times prophecy teachings by John MacArthur, Chuck Swindoll, David Jeremiah and other popular pastors, support the Jesuits Antichrist deception.

Today’s teachers point to an end times Antichrist to rise up from the European Union (which they call the restored Roman Empire) or from Islam, both of which deflect blame away from the Roman Catholic Church antichrist beast system.

Today’s Pastors are teaching end times concepts that are contrary to what was taught by these esteemed Bible scholars:

Albert Barnes, John Calvin, Adam Clarke, John Gill, Matthew Henry, Phillip Mauro, Matthew Poole, Charles H. Spurgeon, William Tyndale, John Wesley, John Wycliffe and others.

So how is it possible that the majority of today’s Pastors are teaching false doctrine about prophecy?

Have they been misled?  Are they ignorant?  Are they wolves in sheep’s clothing?

In order to understand the answers to these questions, we first need to see where the deception started, and then follow how it become so widely accepted.

Satan empowered the Roman Catholic Church to persecute the church of Jesus, which drove Christians and the Word of God into obscurity.

The truth about Jesus love, grace, forgiveness of all their sins, and the gift of eternal life, which had been taught by the early church, was buried under the weight of Catholic tradition, and salvation by works.

During the Dark Ages, the Roman Catholic Church persecuted those who proclaimed the truth of Jesus.

They banned people from reading the Bible, which was in Latin. They burned Bibles and tortured and killed those who had them.

They killed upwards of 100 million people, mostly Christians, during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

Then God shined the light of Jesus, by having the Bible translated into English.

With the advent of the printing press and the Word of God translated into English, the men who became the Protestant Reformers were finally able to read the Bible.

They found salvation through faith, apart from works, in the pure gospel of Jesus Christ.

And they identified the Antichrist. When they read the books of Daniel and Revelation, they identified the Roman Catholic Church as the ‘antichrist‘, the ‘whore of Babylon’, who is guilty of the blood of the saints.

The Protestant Reformers taught that the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled after the 69th week, when the everlasting Gospel was preached to the Jews for seven years.

Here’s the study notes from the Geneva Bible:

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two x weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but y not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

(x) In this week of the seventy, will Christ come and preach and suffer death.

(y) He will seem to have no beauty, nor to be of any estimation; ( Isaiah 53:2 ).

Daniel 9:27 And he a shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to b cease, c and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

(a) By the preaching of the Gospel he affirmed his promise, first to the Jews, and after to the Gentiles.

(b) Christ accomplished this by his death and resurrection.

(c) Meaning that Jerusalem and the sanctuary would be utterly destroyed because of their rebellion against God, and their idolatry: or as some read, that the plague will be so great, that they will all be astonished at them.

The Geneva Bible clearly witnesses that Jesus fulfilled the 70th week of Daniel, and that He sent the Roman army to desolate the Jews, so it has nothing to do with an end-times antichrist. But the King James Bible did not include these study notes, so they were unavailable to future generations, which allowed the Jesuits deception to creep into the church.

Their dual message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ apart from works, together with the message that Papal Rome is the Antichrist, changed the course of history.

When Martin Luther posted his ‘Ninety-Five Theses‘ in 1517, it was widely regarded as the initial catalyst for the Protestant Reformation.

The Protestant Reformers told people to “come out of her” (Rev. 18:4) and millions left the Roman Catholic Church and received Jesus as their Savior, which led to the formation of the Protestant churches.

The Protestant Reformation led to a Great Awakening, where worldwide missions led to millions of people coming to Jesus.

Satan no doubt was livid as he watched God spread His Holy Word and the saving Gospel around the world, so the deceiver devised a new plan.

The Roman Catholic Church empowered the Jesuits to counter the Reformation.

In 1545, they started meeting at what’s called the Council of Trent. One of its main purposes was to plan a counterattack against Martin Luther and the Protestants.

To do this they empowered the Jesuits, who were a secret Catholic order founded by Ignatius Loyola. They call themselves the Society of Jesus, but you’ll soon find out that they are the Society of Satan.

Their work was to be done not only through the Inquisition and through torture, but also through theology and deception.

The Catholic Church gave the Jesuits the specific assignment of bringing Protestantism back to the “Mother Church.” Look at the state of today’s liberal Lutheran church, and you know they’ve been successful.

Central to this plan, was the need to deflect accusations that they were the Antichrist beast system.

The Jesuits are a covert military order of the Roman Catholic Church, not just priests.

They use fifth column tactics to infiltrate every institution they seek to destroy.

Instead of attacking from the outside, where everyone can see them, they covertly attack from the inside.

The Jesuits infiltrate the very thing they wish to destroy.  They’ve pretended to be Christians and have infiltrated Christian institutions, to implement their deceptions inside the walls of Christianity.

They countered accusations by creating the concept of an end times 70th week of Daniel, featuring a one man Antichrist.

The Roman Catholic Church had Jesuit Priest Francisco Ribera, a brilliant man with a doctorate in theology, write a 500 page commentary with an opposing view, where he manipulated prophecies in the books of Daniel and Revelation, to create an end-time 7-year tribulation antichrist.

Ribera applied all of Revelation to the end time rather than to the history of the church.

His explanation was that the prophecies apply only to a single sinister man who will arise up at the end of time; instead of a beast, which the Bibles says is a powerful kingdom (the Roman Catholic Church).

He said that the Antichrist would be an infidel from outside the church of God; instead of someone who presents himself as Christ (the Pope, who calls himself the Vicar of Christ).

He said that the Antichrist would make a 7-year peace agreement with the Jews.

The most important passage that they manipulated is the 70 Weeks of Daniel prophecy in Daniel 9:24-27.

They applied the 70th week of Daniel to an end times Antichrist, replacing the 7-year period of Jesus new covenant being offered to the house of Israel from 27-34 A.D.

These may be the four most important prophecy verses in all of the Bible, because of the end times deceptions that are based on them.

This idea, called Futurism, deferred accusations away from the Roman Catholic Church and the Papacy, so Rome quickly adopted this viewpoint as the Church’s official position on the Antichrist.

Prophecies in Daniel and Revelation tell us about the battle between Jesus and Satan throughout history, from the time they were written to Jesus second coming.

The ‘beast of Revelation‘, the ‘Little Horn of Daniel‘, the ‘son of Perdition’ and the ‘Babylonian Harlot,’ all apply to the history of the Antichrist Roman Catholic Church, who proclaims to be Christian, but has opposed true Christianity throughout their history.  This is called Historicism.

Satan has used Jesuit controlled false prophets and misled Christians to promote the lie of Futurism.

Following close behind Francisco Ribera was another brilliant Jesuit scholar, Cardinal Robert Bellarmine of Rome.

Cardinal Bellarmine promoted Ribera’s concepts in his work “Polemic Lectures Concerning the Disputed points of the Christian Belief Against the Heretics of this Time“.

His writings claimed that Paul, Daniel, and John had nothing whatsoever to say about the Papal power. He taught that Antichrist was a single individual who would not rule until the very end of time.

His teachings won general acceptance among Catholics.

For almost 200 years after the Council of Trent, Jesuit futurism remained largely within Catholicism.

The Futurism of Ribera never posed a positive threat to Protestants worldwide for three centuries, and was virtually confined to the Roman Church. Ribera’s manipulation of Biblical text was rejected for hundreds of years, by discerning students of the Bible, who knew better.

But the Jesuits persisted with their plan to cause the Protestants to adopt this doctrine.

In 1812 a Roman Jesuit priest named Manuel de Lacunza published the work ‘The Coming of Messiah in Glory and Majesty‘ under the pen name of ‘Juan Josafat Ben-Ezra’, a converted Jew.

The pseudonym may be seen as a way of making the work acceptable to Christian readers and diverting attention from the station of the author, as the Inquisition clearly taught Christians that Jesuits were the enemy.

In the early 1800’s their futurism concepts latched on to Protestants in the Established Church of England, and from there it spread to America.

The story of how this happened is both fascinating and tragic. Many individuals were genuine Christians but unknowingly became channels of error.

In the 19th century, Dr. Samuel Roffey Maitland advanced the Jesuit teachings.

Dr. Samuel Roffey Maitland, a lawyer and Bible scholar, became a librarian to the Archbishop of Canterbury.  He found Ribera’s doctrines and began to widely publish and advocate these deceptive teachings.

In 1826 he published a book attacking the Reformation and supporting Ribera’s idea of a future one-man Antichrist. For the next ten years, in tract after tract, he continued his anti-Reformation rhetoric.

As a result of his zeal and strong attacks against the Reformation, the Protestantism of England—the very nation that produced the King James Bible in 1611—received a crushing blow.

James H. Todd published pamphlets and books supporting the Jesuit teachings.

James H. Todd, a professor of Hebrew at the University of Dublin, accepted the futuristic ideas of Maitland, publishing his own supportive pamphlets and books, which caused the deception to continue to spread.

Pastor Edward Irving created the concept of the ‘secret rapture‘.

As the doctrine of futurism was spreading across Europe, the much-respected Scottish Presbyterian minister Edward Irving, the acknowledged forerunner of both the Pentecostal and charismatic movements, came onto the scene. Irving pastored the large Chalcedonian Chapel in London with over 1000 members.

When Irving turned to the prophecies, he eventually accepted the one-man Antichrist ideas of Manuel de Lacunza.

Irving translated Jesuit Priest Lacunza’s ‘The Coming of Messiah‘ into English and published it in English in 1827. It contains a lengthy ‘Preliminary Discourse’ written by Irving as a vehicle for his emerging views.

Around 1830, Edward Irving began to teach the unique idea of a two-phase return of Christ, the first phase being a secret rapture prior to the rise of the Antichrist.

The concept of the pre-tribulation rapture did not exist for 1800 years, until it was introduced by Irving, who was promoting the Jesuits end-times Antichrist deception.

To read a Bible study about the rapture, click on The Pretribulation Rapture Myth

John Henry Newman promoted the Jesuits concepts in England.

Then came John Henry Newman, a member of the Church of England and a leader of the famous Oxford Movement.

In 1850, Newman wrote his “Letter on Anglican Difficulties,” revealing that one of his goals in the Oxford movement was to absorb “the various English denominations and parties” back into the Church of Rome.

After publishing a pamphlet endorsing Todd’s futurism about a one-man Antichrist, Newman became a Roman Catholic, and later even a highly-honored cardinal.

A definite “Romeward movement was already arising, destined to sweep away the old Protestant landmarks, as with a flood.”

John Nelson Darby created the concept of Dispensationalism.

In the midst of this growing anti-Protestant climate in England arose John Nelson Darby – a brilliant lawyer, pastor, and theologian, who wrote more than 53 books on Bible subjects and is credited as the father of Dispensationalism.

Dispensationalism is the theory that God deals with mankind in major dispensations or periods.

John Nelson Darby, like Edward Irving, also became a strong promoter of a pre-tribulation rapture followed by a one-man Antichrist. In fact, his teaching has become a hallmark of dispensationalism.

John Nelson Darby laid much of the foundation for the present popular idea of removing Daniel’s seventieth week from its historical context in the time of Jesus Christ and applying it to a future tribulation after the rapture.

In spite of all the positives of his ministry, Darby followed Maitland, Todd, Bellarmine, and Ribera by incorporating the teachings of futurism into his theology.

Thus, a link was created between John Nelson Darby—the father of dispensationalism—and the Jesuit Francisco Ribera—the father of futurism.

Darby visited America six times between 1859 and 1874, preaching in all of its major cities, during which time he planted the seeds of futurism in American soil.

The Scofield Reference Bible established the deception in America.

One of the most important figures in the spread of these false doctrines is Cyrus Ingerson Scofield, a lawyer from Kansas who was greatly influenced by the writings of Darby. In 1909, Scofield published the first edition of his famous ‘Scofield Reference Bible‘, which injected large doses of Futurism in the commentaries.

This Bible became so popular in American Protestant Bible schools that it was necessary to print literally millions of copies. This was the beginning of the end of American Protestant Christianity and a proper exegetical understanding of prophecy and the Scripture.

The Scofield Study Bible was received by Congregationalists, Baptists, and some Presbyterian denominations. Through the immensely popular Scofield Study Bible, dispensationalism became the standard for biblical interpretation among traditional Southern Baptists in the early twentieth century.

Through the Scofield Bible, Jesuit futurism spread successfully across America. The doctrine of an Antichrist still to come was becoming firmly established inside twentieth-century American Protestantism.

Arno C. Gaebelein promoted Scofield’s Jesuit Futurism concepts.

He was a close assistant to Scofield on his monumental work, the ‘Scofield Reference Bible‘. Two of his books, “Revelation, and Analysis and Exposition” and “Current Events in the Light of the Bible” explain the dispensationalist view of eschatology.

Lewis Sperry Chafer brought Scofield’s teachings to the Dallas Theological Seminary.

Lewis Sperry Chafer, an American theologian, became associated with the ministry of Scofield, who became his mentor. When Scofield died in 1921, Chafer moved to Dallas, Texas, to pastor the First Congregational Church of Dallas, where Scofield had ministered.

Then in 1924 Chafer and his friend William Henry Griffith Thomas realized their vision of a simple, Bible‐teaching theological seminary, when they founded Dallas Theological Seminary (originally Evangelical Theological College).

DTS is known as a center of modern Dispensational teaching due to Dr. Chafer’s development of a Scofield-based systematic theology which approaches the Bible with a “premillennial, dispensational interpretation of the Scriptures.” His eight-volume work describing this approach to theology, “Systematic Theology“, was first published in 1948 and is still a required textbook for some courses at DTS.

Chafer’s theology has been the subject of much study and debate in and out of the theological community since his death, especially on the two larger topics of dispensationalism and Christian Zionism, specifically that the Jews are a people called unto God with a separate historical purpose and plan from Christians.

Dallas Theological Seminary is the key place where the Jesuit concepts were taught to thousands of Pastors, including today’s top TV and radio personalities.

DTS graduates have taken positions at other seminaries, Bible schools, denominations and churches, so that the infection of the Jesuits end time concepts have been spread throughout the church.

As of Fall 2011, DTS has nearly 14,000 alumni serving in various ministerial capacities in 97 countries worldwide, and they’ve been trained according to the Jesuits end times Antichrist deceptions.

Are you seeing how the yeast of the Jesuits futurism deception has spread throughout the church?

Notice how the following Dallas Theological Seminary alumni are promoting the Jesuit Futurism deception.

John F. Walvoord promoted futurism through his publications and books.

John F. Walvoord received a Th.B., Th.M., and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and then became the president .

After the death of Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dr. Walvoord became President of Dallas Theological Seminary and built it into a formidable graduate school of theology.

He was the editor of Bibliotheca Sacra, America’s oldest theological quarterly, was recognized as one of the leading evangelical theologians in America and an authority on systematic theology and eschatology.

He authored numerous books on theology and biblical prophecy, including “Daniel: The Key to Prophetic Revelation“, “The Rapture Question“, and “The Nations, Israel and the Church in Prophecy.”

John F. Walvoord teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

Charles Caldwell Ryrie promoted futurism in his Ryrie Study Bible.

Charles Caldwell Ryrie served as professor of systematic theology and dean of doctoral studies at Dallas Theological Seminary

He is the editor of The Ryrie Study Bible by Moody Publishers, which contains more than 10,000 of Dr. Ryrie’s explanatory notes. Over 2 million of these Bibles have been sold, each one teaching the Jesuits end times deceptions.

Hal Lindsey brought the Jesuit deception to the mainstream.

He graduated from Dallas with a Master of Theology, majoring in the New Testament and early Greek literature

In the 1970s, Pastor Hal Lindsey, released his blockbuster book “The Late Great Planet Earth. His 177-page, easy-to-read volume brought Futurism to the masses of American Christianity, and beyond.  Over 30 million copies have been sold and it’s available in over 30 languages.

Hal also embraced Dallas Theological Seminary founder Lewis Sperry Chafer’s theory that the Jews are a people called unto God with a separate historical purpose and plan from Christians.

Several of Lindsey’s books predicted the timing of the rapture, only to have the date come and go.  Hal has been proven to be a False Prophet. His new program, ‘The Hal Lindsey Report‘, continues to teach the Jesuits end times concepts, and is carried on the Angel One and DayStar networks.

Chuck Swindoll and Insight For Living.

Chuck attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he graduated magna cum laude.

In July 1994, Swindoll became the president of the Dallas Theological Seminary and now serves as its chancellor. His Insight For Living radio program is broadcast on more than 2,000 stations around the world in 15 languages. His series on Daniel and Revelation teaches the concepts of the Jesuits end times deceptions.

David Jeremiah and Turning Point Broadcast Ministries.

David Jeremiah received a Master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.

He succeeded Tim LaHaye as Shadow Mountain’s senior pastor in 1981. His Turning Point Ministries program is broadcast via radio stations and the Internet.  His “What In the World is Going On?” prophecy series was recently broadcast to millions of people.

His wrote the prophecy books “The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns About the New Global Economy“, “What In the World is Going On?: 10 Prophetic Clues You Cannot Afford to Ignore“.

David Jeremiah teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

J. Vernon McGee and Thru the Bible Radio Network program.

J. Vernon McGee has Master of Theology (Th.M.) and Doctor of Theology degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Ron Rhodes and Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries

Ron Rhode holds ThM and ThD degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary, and teaches there and at several other seminaries.

He is president of ‘Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries‘, which is heard regularly on nationwide radio.

Here’s a quote for his website, “We believe that the translation of the church will be followed by the fulfillment of Israel’s seventieth week (Dan. 9:27; Rev. 6:1–19:21) during which the church, the body of Christ, will be in heaven. The whole period of Israel’s seventieth week will be a time of judgment on the whole earth, at the end of which the times of the Gentiles will be brought to a close. The latter half of this period will be the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30:7), which our Lord called the great tribulation (Matt. 24:15–21).

The fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel already occurred when Jesus offered a New Covenant to the house of Israel and the House of Judah. Ron Rhodes teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

The Pre-Trib Study Group from Dr. Tim LaHaye and Dr. Thomas Ice

Dr. Ice has a B.A. from Howard Payne University, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Ph.D. from Tyndale Theological Seminary

In 1991 Dr. Tim LaHaye became concerned about a perceived swaying from the pretribulational doctrine. The Pre-trib Study Group gathers teachers together who promote the deceptions of the Jesuits.

Dr. Ice and Tim LaHaye teach prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

Talbot School of Theology teaches the Jesuits Antichrist deceptions.

The seminary’s first dean was Charles L. Feinberg, who earned his Th.M. and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary.  He was also on the faculty at DTS. Talbut officially holds to the teaching of premillennial dispensationalism, and requires its faculty members to be in accord with this theological and cultural.

By teaching these concepts, the Talbut School of Theology is promoting the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception and misleading future pastors.

John MacArthur  and Grace To You Ministries, Master’s College and Grace Theological Seminary.

John got his theology Masters at Talbot School of Theology.

John’s ‘Master’s Seminary‘ and ‘Grace Theological Seminary‘ both teach a Dispensational premillennial position in eschatology.

Their website says, “We teach the personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ before the seven-year tribulation.”

The anti-Christ reign in the 7 year tribulation and pre-trib rapture deception are based on the covenant of salvation in the Messianic 70 Week prophecy of Daniel 9:24 thru Daniel 9:27.

Our 70th Week Of Daniel Deception study proves that the covenant is from Jesus Christ, which invalidates the claim that it applies to an end times Antichrist, therefore it also invalidates that there is a 7-year tribulation period.

John MacArthur teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

By teaching these concepts, the ‘Master’s Seminary‘ and ‘Grace Theological Seminary‘ are promoting the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception and misleading future pastors.

Here’s other popular pastors who promote the Jesuits end time Antichrist deception.

Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel teaches the Jesuits Antichrist deceptions.

Chuck authored books like “The Rapture“, which teach prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

Chuck prophesied that because the state of Israel was created in 1948, the generation (40 years) that followed would be the last.  Of course 1988 came and went, and here we are, so that prophecy was false.

And these concepts are taught in Calvary Chapel churches worldwide and they are taught at the Calvary Chapel Bible College, which misleads future pastors..

Jack Van Impe teaches the Jesuits Antichrist deceptions.

Jack believes the Bible states that the world political leader will “come in peaceably” and create a seven-year peace deal involving Israel. The premise for the seven-year peace has been invalidated in our 70 Weeks of Daniel study.

Jack Van Impe teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

John Hagee teaches the Jesuits Antichrist deceptions.

John Hagee promotes all of Jesuits deceptions of the end times, and also Lewis Sperry Chafer’s Christian Zionists views about Jews.

Our Jews Who Are Not Really Jews study proves that 97% of people who call themselves Jews are NOT the descendents of Abraham, and have no right to the land of Israel or the promises of God.

John Hagee teaches prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

TBN teaches the Jesuits Antichrist deceptions.

The Trinity Broadcasting Network is now the world’s largest Christian television network. They feature people like Hal Lindsey, Pastor John Hagee, who promote the Jesuit End times Antichrist concepts.

Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins brought the Jesuit deceptions to the masses.

In the 1990s, Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins took the Jesuit Futurism concepts, and applied them in the enormously successful Christian fiction series of books and movies.

The authors of Left Behind and the leaders of these television ministries may be genuine Christians who are doing their best to influence people for God’s Kingdom. Yet, in the full light of Scripture, they are teaching the doctrines of Satan. Left Behind teaches much of the same Jesuit futurism of Francisco Ribera, hiding the real truth about the Antichrist.

Through Left Behind, the floodgates of futurism have been opened, unleashing a massive tidal wave of false prophecy, that has swept over America.

Tyndale House Publishing promotes writers who teach the Jesuits deception.

Kenneth N. Taylor, a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, created of the The Living Bible and is the founder of Tyndale House.

Its most successful publication in recent years has been the Left Behind series of novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, which is one of the best-selling book series in history with more than 60 million copies in print.

Kenneth N. Taylor and Tyndale House Publishing promote authors who teach prophecy concepts that support the Jesuits end-time Antichrist deception.

So are these Pastors misled?  Are they ignorant?  Are they wolves in sheep’s clothing?

The studies on this website prove that the majority of today’s pastors are teaching end time prophecy concepts that are false, which makes them False Prophets.

The concept of Futurism was created to counter the Protestant Reformation and to deflect blame away from the Antichrist Roman Catholic Church. The majority of today’s pastors are teaching the Jesuit’s prophecy concepts, which continues to deflect blame away from the Antichrist beast of the Roman Catholic Church.

They may be sincere Christians, but they are teaching the doctrine of the Antichrist, and they will be held accountable to the Lord! Most of them have been deceived at seminaries and Bible schools, where the Jesuits infiltrated the ranks to deceive them.  Others are wolves in sheep’s clothing, who have sold out to the riches of Rome.

If you have influence with a pastor who is teaching these concepts, strongly encourage them to read the 70 Weeks Of Daniel Covenant Deception study and this page, so that they can see the truth.

There are definite strongholds in Pastors lives that aren’t allowing them to see the truth, so they desperately need your prayers.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Joseph Tanner said, “It is a matter for deep regret that those who hold and advocate the Futurist system at the present day, Protestants as they are for the most part, are thus really playing into the hands of Rome, and helping to screen the Papacy from detection as the Antichrist.

It has been well said that ‘Futurism tends to obliterate the brand put by the Holy Spirit upon Popery.’ More especially is this to be deplored at a time when the Papal Antichrist seems to be making an expiring effort to regain his former hold on men’s minds.

The antichrist Roman Catholic Church has regained its power after sustaining a ‘deadly head wound‘ in 1798.

My friend, Satan and his disciples have been very effective in undermining Christianity.

As a result, Christians are deceived and unprepared, because they think that God will rapture them out before the 7-year tribulation. So they aren’t putting on the full armor of God to face times of great tribulation.

They aren’t preparing to have an escape plan, to have food and water, so that they can protect their family and minister to others.

They will be panic stricken when it doesn’t happen and their hearts will fail them; instead of being full of faith and helping desperate people find hope in Jesus.

They aren’t prepared to proclaim the name of Jesus when they may be forced to decide between worshiping the False Messiah(Satan) or death.

Read the The Beasts of Daniel and Revelation study to see how the Bible clearly describes the Roman Catholic Church as the the ‘beast of Revelation‘, the ‘Little Horn of Daniel‘, and the Pope, the ‘son of Perdition‘ and the “Babylonian Harlot‘.

One of the premises of the Jesuits deception is that there would be a peace agreement with Israel by the Antichrist, which meant that they had to take control of the land to create an end time Israel.

Our Jews Who Are Not Really Jews study reveals that 97% of people who call themselves Jews are not the descendents of Abraham, so the regathering in Israel is a fraud.

Many pastors point to the reestablishment of the nation Israel as a sure sign, but it is only the ploy of the Antichrist Jesuits.  To learn more, click on Regathering Of The Jews Deception

  1. Quote:
“The foundation for the concept of the 7 year tribulation and pre-tribulation rapture are based on the covenant in Daniel 9:26 being from the Antichrist.”

Isn’t this supposed to be Daniel 9:27, where both ‘covenant’ and ‘week’ are specific terms used, in which Bellarmine based the ‘reign of the anti-Christ and his covenant in an end-time, 7 year tribulation?

Or is the connection to “the people of the prince that shall come”?

If this is correct, I might also suggest a search-engine keyword phrase such as: “the anti-Christ reign in the 7 year tribulation and pre-trib rapture deception are based on the covenant of salvation in the Messianic 70 Week prophecy of Daniel 9:24 thru Daniel 9:27” or something to this effect.

Thank you for this superb exposé.

  2. David, this is a study of extraordinary proportions and needs to be in the hands of every Pastor. I have studied under all of these people at one time or another in my walk with Yahusha and was once deceived by these same lies that are taught in the churches today. Praise the Father for calling me out and opening my eyes. Great documentation or the history of this deception. My prayers that it reaches many.
    Bless you brother

  3. Dear David, Elsewhere in your studies you mentioned that “antichrist” is mentioned only 4 times in the New Messianic Covenant. However, it is actually 5 times as follows:

In 1 John 2:18 & 19; John the apostle states “Boys (lads), it is the last time – hour [the end of this age]. And as you have heard that “Antichrist” (1) [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming, even now many “antichrists” (2) have arisen, which confirms our belief that it is the final (the end) time. They went out from our number, but they did not [really] belong to us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But [they withdrew] that it might be plain that they all are not of us.

In 1 John 2:22; John states “Who is [such a] liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah? He is “antichrist”, (3) (the antagonist of Christ) who habitually denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.

In 1 John 4:1, 2, 3; John states that “And every spirit which does not acknowledge or confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God – does not proceed from Him. This [non-confession] is the [spirit] of “antichrist” (4) [of] which you heard that it was is coming, and now is already in the world”.

In 2 John 7; John states “For many imposters – seducers, deceivers and false leaders – have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge (confess, admit) the coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, in bodily from; such a one is an imposter – the seducer, the deceiver, the false leader, the antagonist of Christ – and the “Antichrist” (5).

I thought that you would like to have such correcting submissions from time to time.

I am really hooked on your site as I spent 32 years in charismatic futurism which never satisfied me and have been bombarded with historicism in the last 5 years which is very absorbing and intelligent to say the least. I noted also that you corrected the 2300 years vs days in Daniel which was misinterpreted by the Adventists as the 1844 debacle. Another loop closed. What is your view on 7th Day Adventists who are 90% protestantish and 10% Ellen G White followers. Also, what do you classify your personal faith as? I detect a lot of independent thinking, though very Protestant, and a smattering of sabbath/feasts, Yahushah and Yahuweh interaction. I regard myself as Free and Independent Protestant Activist – whatever that means!

    • Thank you for your comment Georges 🙂 Antichrist is found in four verses, but as you said, in one of those verses the word is used twice. I appreciate the feedback. The 1 day = 1 year principles messes people up, because they apply it to everything, but Scripture and history do not back that up. The 2,300 days of Daniel were exactly that, days. The 1,290 and 1,335 days of Daniel 12 were also days. So the fulfillment of the 2,300 days invalidates the foundation of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and discredits their leaders. Most Adventist don’t understand the fulfillment of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls, either. As for my faith, I was raised Baptist, and grew in Calvary Chapel Churches, but now I know that what they taught me about prophecy fulfillment is wrong. I am Protestant to be sure, meaning I protest against the Jesuit Roman Catholic antichrist beast, and their false salvation message. I simply revere the Father and Son, and their Holy Scriptures. I revere the Holy Sabbath and the Holy Feast Days. I revere their personal, covenant names. I am part of no harlot denomination. I like the title of “Free and Independent Protestant Activist”! David

      • David,
by definition, you are a Seventh day Adventist, you may not want to admitted because of the stigma and the “cult” fame that some have accused the seventh day Adventist church. But this is simple, if you believe in that Sabbath is still the Holy day of God, then you are a seventh day believer and if you believe in a literal second coming of Jesus and the historic interpretation of prophecies, you are a seventh day Adventist. about the 2300 cannot be literally days because the 70 week are part of the 2300 and at the end the sanctuary would be cleans-this also relates to the feast and the day of atonement.(read Hebrews and you will see the reference to the heavenly sanctuary)

The Book of Daniel was written while the Jews were in exile in Babylon because of their sin and rebellion against God. Daniel 9:24-27 has a prophecy spoken by the angel Gabriel to encourage the Jewish people as they were going to be given a “second chance” to end their sin and rebellion, return home and rebuild Jerusalem and their temple and ultimately receive their Messiah, being of course Jesus Christ.

All these following events described here in Daniel chapter 9 took place in 538 B.C. soon after the Chaldeans (Babylon) were conquered by the Medes and the Persians.

Daniel 9:1 “In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;”

Daniel had often studied the book of Jeremiah and understood that the last 70 years of slavery for his people had now finally come to an end.

Jeremiah 25:11-12 “And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. 12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.” Jeremiah 29:10 “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.”

Daniel 9:2-3 “In the first year of his reign [Darius, see Daniel 9:1] I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:” Parenthesis added.

Now that Babylon had fallen, Daniel knew it was time for Jerusalem to be rebuilt. Daniel had no doubt that it was the sins of his people that had caused all their grief, but he wondered if the Daniel prayingrebuilding of Jerusalem was delayed because of their rebellion. Thus we find in verses 3-19 that Daniel is in fervent prayer and fasting to His Creator God, seeking forgiveness for the sins of himself and his people.

Daniel 9:4-5, 17 “And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your judgments: 17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.”

During Daniel’s prayer the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel again. In the previous chapter of Daniel 8, the angel gave Daniel a vision describing a 2300 day (2300 years) period of time. However, because Daniel collapsed, he was unable to hear the entire interpretation of the vision at the time.

Daniel 8:14-16, 27 “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. 16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.”

The reason for Daniel distress was because he knew the prophetic time 1 day to a year formula y he new that 2300 day of year will be a enormous time for the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the promise of the Messiah and it also seem to be in conflict with the prophecies of the prophet Jeremiah, so Daniel fainted. This is the motivation for his prayer, to ask God for forgiveness of his people and to have mercy. Do we pray like that sometime, pleading for mercy hoping that God will change his the punishment that we deserve? look at his prayer!

Daniel 9:20-21 “And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; 21 Yes, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.”

Gabriel now tells Daniel that he is going to explain the vision he had at the beginning. However, nowhere in Daniel 9 do we see Daniel having a vision. The last vision Daniel had was in the previous chapter of Daniel 8 when he collapsed and was unable to hear all Gabriel had to say. Plain common sense and logic tells us that Gabriel is about to finish telling Daniel what he was too sick to hear before when he fainted. Remember there are no chapters or verses in the original Hebrew and Greek text and are added.

Daniel 9:22-23 “And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.”

Note that the word determined in Daniel 9:24 comes from the Hebrew word, “chathak,” (see Strong’s 2852) which literally means to cut off or to be marked out. In other words, the angel is telling Daniel that 70 weeks had been cut off or marked out for the people of Israel, but how do you cut off this time? It would have to be cut off from a larger period of time which can only be the 2300 day (2300 years) prophecy in Daniel 8:14. The angel Gabriel is about to illustrate a period of time that is cut off a longer period of time that is marked out specifically for the people of Israel.

This brings us to the main passage of Daniel’s prophecy. The entire passage of Daniel’s 70 weeks is given below first for ease of study and so the context can be seen before we explain the remaining verses. This very controversial prophecy literally reads:

Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”
Daniel 9:26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

We find in Daniel 9:24 that God gave Daniel’s people 70 weeks to end their sin and rebellion against Him, but if they ignored this warning then God would reject Israel as His chosen nation. When Bible prophecy is symbolic, the proven and established day for a year principle applies. (See Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34) So Daniel’s 70 weeks (490 days) is actually a literal 490 years. Daniel 9:25 informs us that these 70 prophetic weeks began with the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

This well known starting date for the decree to rebuild Jerusalem was given by Artaxerxes in 457 B.C. (Ezra 7:13). Remember this date was also the beginning of the 490 years God gave Israel to end their rebellion and so the 490 year probation period ended in A.D. 34 where the Jews ceased to be God’s chosen people. Daniel 9:24-25 informs us the Messiah would be anointed after a total of 69 (7 + 62) of these prophetic weeks had passed. That is 483 years (490-7) from the 457 B.C. decree date and brings us to the year A.D. 27. This was the exact year Jesus was baptized by John and the Holy Spirit anointed Him for His ministry. The Greek word “Messiah” means “Anointed One” and so we know this can only be the fulfilment of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy that the Messiah would appear in A.D. 27. The Jewish probation period was 70 weeks but Jesus appears as the “Messiah” after 69 weeks. So the 70th and final week is left for Christ to minister before the Jews probation ended. What happened in this 70th and final week?

Daniel 9:27 gives the answer, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”

Daniel’s 70 weeks chartThe “midst of the week” is half of 7 days being of course 3.5 prophetic days, which is 3.5 literal years being the time from the baptism of Jesus to His crucifixion. And as you would expect, the Bible confirms the ministry of Jesus lasted exactly 3.5 years. When they crucified Jesus in the spring of A.D. 31, the temple veil was rent from top to bottom, (Matthew 27:51) which signified the end of the sacrificial system. By His own death Jesus caused the “sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” The remaining 3.5 literal years brings us to the end of the 70 weeks and the Jewish probation. The disciples laboured mainly for the Jews during those three and a half years and in A.D. 34, the 70 weeks ended when Stephen was stoned after his immense speech before the council in Acts chapter 7. The Jews had rejected the Gospel message and so were no longer God’s chosen people and thus the Gospel began to go to the Gentiles (Acts 8:4). The Jews now receive salvation as individuals in the same way we do.

Note 1: There are different opinions on who “the people of the prince” refers to in Daniel 9:26 but the majority of scholars however do agree that the destruction of “the city and the sanctuary” applies to the second destruction of Jerusalem and the rebuilt sanctuary by Roman armies under Prince Titus in 70 A.D.

Note 2: Remember the 70 weeks or 490 years was the time God gave His chosen nation to end their rebellion where they would then be forgiven for their transgressions. Now note that Jesus references this prophetic time period while conversing with Peter on the topic forgiveness. 70 times 7 is of course 490.

Matthew 18:21 “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”

For those wondering, the well known and accepted day for a year rule is correct or otherwise the entire ministry of Jesus would have only been 3.5 days instead of 3.5 years and the entire prophecy would have only lasted about 1.3 years. That would be from 457 B.C. to approximately 455 B.C. The temple and the streets and the walls of Jerusalem etc would have had to have been rebuilt in 49 days. This would be an impossible task and it certainly did take every bit of the 49 years as one would expect.

So let’s just clarify these times again. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon your people” Seventy weeks is 70 * 7 days which is 490 prophetic days, which on the day for a year rule is 490 years.

Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

Daniel 9:25 states that from the decree to rebuild the temple until the Messiah (means anointed one), which can only be Jesus, is 7 weeks and threescore and two weeks, Three score is 60, plus two equals 62 weeks. So this is 7 + 62 = 69 weeks from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the beginning of Christ’s ministry. The ministry of Jesus began at the allowed age of 30 years with His baptism.

Luke 3:22-23 NIV “And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. 23 Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry…”

So how do we get the year of baptism to be 27 A.D. when it states Jesus was about thirty years old? When the time of this was first calculated there was an error of 4 years made as many now know. Herod was still alive when Christ was born and did all he could to try and kill Jesus at that time. But History records Herod’s death to be in 4 B.C. After the error was recognized, the historic facts became even clearer. Jesus was born in 4 B.C. and then baptized in 27 A.D. at the age of 30.

The 7 weeks (49 days = 49 years) was the time it took to rebuild the Temple and streets etc and the remaining 62 weeks brings us to the Baptism of the Messiah. Note that Christ means the “anointed one” in Greek while Messiah means the “anointed one” in Hebrew.

Daniel 9:26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”

This leaves only the final 70th week, which is 7 years to complete the 70 weeks of Daniel, (7 + 62 + 1 = 70 weeks or 490 years). We are told that after the threescore and two weeks (60 + 2 = 62) that the Messiah would be cut off. In other words, cut off from the land of the living, that is, killed by crucifixion. This happens after the 62 week period which follows the 7 weeks, so this is 69 weeks into the prophecy. Note that is says “after” this time period and not at the end of the 69 weeks exactly. So how long after the 62nd week was it when Jesus was crucified?

Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Daniel 9:27 tells us exactly when after the total of 69 weeks Jesus was “cut off, but not for Himself,” for He was cut off for us as He died for our sins. Note that it states that He, Jesus, caused “the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” in the “middle” of the final week (7 years), which is 3.5 years of course. When Jesus, the Lamb of God, died on the cross, He became our one and final perfect sacrifice and put an end to the temple sacrifices. This was signified by the temple curtain been torn from top to bottom.

Matthew 27:51 “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”

This still leaves 3.5 years before the end of Daniel’s 70 weeks (490 years) and the close of probation for Israel. The Gospel was still to go the Jews exclusively for this remaining time. So what happened at the end of the 490 years? Stephen gave one immense and very significant speech before the Sanhedrin. This was God giving the Jews their final chance to repent. How did they respond and what did they do?

Acts 7:54-60 “When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”

Notice that this is an extremely significant event as we see Stephen say, “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” It is also interesting to note that Stephen effectively said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” The final 3.5 years, which was the same length of time as the ministry of Jesus Christ, ended with the death of Stephen and him effectively saying the same words as Jesus when He was crucified. This marked the end of a very significant time period being the end of the Daniel’s 70 weeks.

In the autumn of the year 34 A.D., the Jewish leaders rejected the Gospel message. They openly declared this rejection by the stoning of Stephen that was approved wholly by the leaders of Israel. The sad historical fact is Stephen was the first Christian martyr killed by the hands of the Jewish nation itself. The 490 years were up and the Jews not only did not repent but they killed the very Messiah they had been waiting for as well as the final messenger that was sent to give them their final chance to repent. The Jews were now rejected as God’s chosen nation and were no different from the Gentiles.

After Jesus was baptized by John, Jesus states the following. Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” What is this time that is fulfilled that Jesus speaks of here? I am sure you already know but note the following Bible Commentary for confirmation.

        Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible, LL.D., F.S.A., (1715-1832)
“Mark 1:15 The time is fulfilled – That is, the time appointed for sending the Messiah; and particularly the time specified by Daniel, Dan_9:24-27.”
        Daniel’s 70 weeks date evidence

The basics of the 70 week prophecy of Daniel 9 are relatively simple and clear as I am sure you will now agree. The only thing that is not initially distinctly clear and that many dispute is the date evidence. How can we be sure that this prophecy did in fact begin in 457 B.C.? In order for this prophecy to prove that Jesus was in fact the Messiah, then the starting period has to come close to a year that can be reconciled with a date that could be aligned with the baptism and crucifixion of Jesus. As we discovered earlier, this starting date began with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

        The decree to rebuild Jerusalem
The issuing of the command to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem begins with a specific decree, but the problem is that there are several different decrees in the Bible concerning rebuilding within Jerusalem.

        Instigator

        Passage

        Date

        Particulars of the Decree

        Cyrus

        Ezra 1:1-4

        539 B.C.

Allowed the Jews to return home and rebuild their Temple. The work ceased because of false allegations (Ezra 4:6-13).

        Darius

        Ezra 6:8-12

        520 B.C.

Allowed the Jews to complete the rebuilding of the Temple

        Artaxerxes

        Ezra 7:11-26

        457 B.C.

Gave authority to Ezra to lead the nation in the Laws of God

        Artaxerxes

        Nehemiah 1

        445 B.C.

Gave permission to Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem

The first two dates are way too early to have any bearing upon the coming of the Messiah and the last one is way too late. Ezra was given his commission in the 7th year of Artaxerxes. So allowing for his ascension year, this Persian king began his reign in 464 B.C. This places the king’s decree to Ezra around 457 B.C. (464 B.C. – 7 years = 457 B.C.) We find Ezra also alludes to possibly been given permission in his prayer not only to rebuild the Temple but also to build the walls of Judah and Jerusalem.

Ezra 9:9 “For we are slaves; yet in our bondage our God has not forsaken us, but has extended loving kindness to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us reviving to raise up the house of our God, to restore its ruins and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”

The conclusion of the 69 weeks is the coming of “Messiah the Prince” and theologians generally agree that this Anointed Prince is a reference to Jesus Christ. So this makes it a simple matter of looking at the four decrees and seeing which one aligns with the first coming of Jesus. Since there are some differences of opinion in these dates, I have given a range of the most accepted dates.

Daniel 9:25 “Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks…”

Instigator and date for each decree

        483 Year date end

        Cyrus

        Ezra 1:1-4

        539-536 B.C.

        56-53 B.C.

        Darius

        Ezra 6:8-12

        520-519 B.C.

        37-36 B.C.

        7th Year of Artaxerxes

        Ezra 7:11-26

        458-457 B.C.

        26-27 A.D.

        20th Year of Artaxerxes

        Nehemiah 1

        445-444 B.C.

        39-40 A.D.

This chart makes it easy to see that the first decree of Artaxerxes that was given to Ezra in 457 B.C. is the beginning of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy since the date of 27 A.D. is within the timeline of the beginning of the ministry of Jesus. Note that more secular scholars date the seventh year of Artaxerxes mentioned in Ezra 7:7 to 458 B.C. instead of 457 B.C. Other years that some have used are impossible.

Historians have been able to establish absolute dates for the reign of Artaxerxes I using classical Greek sources and Egyptian and Babylonian astronomical and historical sources. We now know that Artaxerxes ascended to the throne late in 465 B.C. after his father, Xerxes, died and that his first full year was 464 B.C. There is no doubt for anyone familiar with the available chronological sources that we have the regnal years of Artaxerxes I accurately fixed. The dates are so well set in the cement of these sources for Daniel 9:25 that the Bible itself provides all the basic information we need in order to understand this prophetic period. If there is confusion in the scholarly world, it is because scholars feel uncomfortable with the historical information provided by the books of Ezra and Nehemiah.

Decree for Daniel’s 70 weekDaniel’s 70 weeks prophecy pointed to a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem as the starting date for the 70 weeks. Information provided by Ezra indicates that this prophecy was fulfilled by the decree of Artaxerxes I in 457 B.C. which authorized Ezra to restore and rebuild Jerusalem by allowing him to establish a judicial system based on the Law of the Lord in Jerusalem and throughout the Trans-Euphrates province. The decree also allowed for the rebuilding of the city. Nehemiah makes it clear that in computing the years of the reign of Artaxerxes he was using a fall-to-fall calendar making it possible for us to identify the seventh year of the king as 457 B.C.

        • There are some who believe the 2300 “days” only refer to the time of this little horn power because of the way that the saint asks the question in Daniel 8:13. Well, for starters, this little horn power is the same power as in Daniel 7. And in Daniel 7 it confirms that the little horn continues for a “time, times and half a time”, which is 1260 prophetic “days” (1260 years), not 2300.

Daniel 8:13 …’Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, how long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?’

We can clearly see that the saint is referring to the time of the little horn which would cast down the sanctuary and trample upon the truth. But the saint is just asking “UNTIL WHEN” will the little horn be allowed to cast the truth to the ground? And the answer isn’t specific to only the time of the little horn:

Daniel 8:14 …’Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.’

The answer doesn’t say that the little horn power spans the whole 2300 “days” (years). Basically, it’s saying that something will happen AT (“unto”) 2300 “days”. And that something being the “cleansing of the sanctuary”. And at that time the truth will be restored and the power of the little horn over the truth will be broken.

Now if you have done the study of the 70 weeks, you will see that Gabriel says in Daniel 9:24 that the 70 weeks, which are connected to the 2300 “days” are “determined” for Israel. And that word determined in the original language means “TO CUT OFF”. But to cut off from what? To cut off from the 2300 “days” (years). So the first 490 years of this 2300 year prophecy is specifically for the nation of Israel.

And what does that show? It shows that the 2300 “days” cannot be placed into the end times, because the 70 “weeks” are PART OF the 2300 “day” time frame. And with the 70 weeks being 490 literal years, the 2300 also has to be years.

The 70 “weeks” start at the command to rebuild Jerusalem, which is 457BC. So the 2300 “days” HAVE to start at the same point, because there is no other starting point given for the 2300. And Gabriel confirmed that he had come to give Daniel understanding concerning the 2300 day vision. So the 70 weeks HAVE to be part of the 2300 and the starting date HAS to be the same for both.

So going from 457BC 2300 years we reach the date of when the sanctuary would be cleansed and when the truth would be restored. And that date is the year 1844.

After many years of Papal suppression of the truth known as the “dark ages”, the people of the world were kept in darkness concerning the truth of God’s Word and the ministry of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary for us. But in the 1500’s a great Protestant reformation began and over the next few hundred years the light of God’s truth began to shine again.

Then at the start of the 19th century a man called William Miller (a baptist) came to the truth about the 2300 day prophecy, that it would come to an end in 1844. Now because the word “sanctuary” in this prophecy was widely accepted as meaning the earth, William Miller believed that the “cleansing of the sanctuary” meant the earth would be cleansed, meaning Christ would return then. So he started preaching this and many people came out of the different denominations to join this new “advent movement”, expecting Christ to return in 1844.

When Christ didn’t return in 1844 the believers went through a bitter disappointment, and although many left that movement, a “remnant” remained to re-study that prophecy, because they knew that they had the right year, 1844. After careful study of the prophecy and Hebrews 8 and 9, they realized that the sanctuary wasn’t the earth, but rather the ORIGINAL sanctuary in heaven where Christ intercedes for us, and on which the earthly Old Testament sanctuary was a copy.

These believers then came to the truth that Jesus had moved into the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin judging the world. Just as the earthly high priest would move into the most holy place on the day of atonement to “cleanse” the earthly sanctuary of the people’s sins, Christ moved into the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin cleansing it and to begin judgment. Hence the phrase “until two thousand three hundred days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” (you can read in Hebrews 8 and 9 about Christ’s role as our High Priest).

Now because of this wrong application of the event in 1844, thinking that Christ would return. Many Christians today say that it shows the advent movement was a false one and not of God. Well, what they don’t realise is that this event was actually prophesied to happen to God’s people.

Revelation 10:1-11 …’And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven … And he had in his hand a little book open … and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel … And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.’

What “little book” could this be referring to? Well, there was only one that had been “closed and William Millersealed”, and that was the prophecy of Daniel. Specifically, the 2300 day vision (Daniel 8:26). And during the time of William Miller, this prophecy was “opened”. And what happened when William Miller and his followers “ate” this prophecy? It was sweet in their mouths (coming of Christ in 1844), but bitter in their belly (Christ didn’t return). Then they were to discover the truth and take that truth to the world through the new advent movement that was formed (“prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”)

Now when this group of Advent believers in 1844 came to the truth about the time of judgment beginning, they saw within the most holy place in heaven, the ark of God’s covenant … Revelation 11:19 …’And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.’ … And what is inside God’s ark of His testament (covenant)? The ten commandments!

Many lost truths at the hands of the Roman Catholic Church had been restored during the Protestant reformation, but now the truth of the ten commandments, God’s great moral law of love had finally been restored, INCLUDING the sabbath day truth, and God now had an end time church with the FULL truth of the “everlasting gospel” which could now be proclaimed to the world before Jesus returns at the second coming. This “Advent” movement, in 1860 became known as the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

**We MUST follow Christ into the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary, because only then will we see that the great moral law of God, the ten commandments is STILL in effect and binding upon everyone. Only then will we see that the sabbath day of the 4th commandment is also STILL in effect and binding upon everyone.**

Now if you are faithful to the truth of God’s Word and you study the 70 weeks of Daniel along with this study of the 2300 days, then there is ONLY ONE date that you can come to, and that is the date of 1844. And there is only one thing of note that happened in 1844, and that is the Advent movement. Which after the great disappointment of not seeing Christ return, came to the truth that Christ had entered into the most holy place to begin judgment, and that the law of God, the ten commandments (including the sabbath commandment) was still binding upon everyone.

Revelation 14:7 …’Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment is come, and worship Him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of the waters.’

Daniel 7:9,10,13 …’I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.’

This is the great scene of Christ Jesus moving into the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary, to begin judgment, and the Seventh Day Adventist Church is the only church preaching this end time truth. God now has His end time remnant church to proclaim the three angels message and the everlasting gospel to the world. Are you part of God’s remnant church? Christ is pleading for us in the judgment. Are you giving your all for Him today?

Consider this, from 1844 till today only the Seventh day Adventist Church had been preaching about the message of revelation 14. Where the angel call for a coming out of Babylon and all the corrupt system. That’s exactly what you are teaching!!!!

We Seventh Day Adventist are no better that anyone, and yes we do have some people that are arrogant and proud in the way they present the truth. Do we have serious issues like any other church, o yes we do. So the apostolic church.

But something I want t say, we believe that the bible is our only rule of life, and that only by faith in Jesus we will be save.

The truth of the matter is that God wants to prepare people for what is coming, just as he did with his disciples before the destruction of Jerusalem, and those that believed and study Daniels prophecies where save and did not die in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD

Jesus is coming soon and this world will experience worse things and only those that keep a close connection with Jesus will be save.

          God bless you .

  4. For 2,000 years, the Church of Christ has not changed the Teachings of her Founder, Christ, has not changed one bit. We Catholics compiled the books of the Holy Bible -what are you talking about Catholic Church manipulates? Any knowledge of the Early Fathers of the Church?
Do you know where your bible comes from? Wasn’t Luther, in 1517, who picked and chose according to his needs what should go to the book? Later, the “Church of England” paved the way to the so-called James Bible. Yet, the new Christians do not accept all the writings of St. James, “Faith alone, without works is dead.” Today, more than ever, those who protest Christ and His Church have a spirit misguiding with their own interpretation of the Word of God. Whereas Catholics have an Authority, a Magisterium (teaching authority) guided by the Only Spirit, the Spirit from the Father and the Son.
Education is important for Catholics, who can’t assume or presume anything. Catholics shouldn’t dare to say when the end of the world will be for not even the Son knows the day and hour, but the Son of Man will come like the thief in the middle of the night so PREPARE YOUR SOUL FOR THE GREAT ENCOUNTER WITH YOUR MASTER AND JUDGE!
If you really loved God with all your heart, mind and strength you should radiate the light of Christ to the world in words and deeds and his Peace you should give to all those who hear your voice.
Time is too short to waste it in hatred toward Christ and His Church, for what God has done no man should try to undo.
Catholics do not worship the Mother of God, the Pope or any other creature but God alone; however, we honor Christ best friends and love even our enemies, just as Christ has taught us.
May the Peace of Jesus Christ and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit descend and remain with you for ever and ever.

    • Thank you for your comment Norma 🙂 Wycliffe, Luther, Tyndale, etc. all had to translate the Bible, because the Roman Catholic Popes banned and burned the Holy Scriptures.

Pope Innocent III declared, “to be reproved are those who translate into French the Gospels, the letters of Paul, the psalter, etc. They are moved by a certain love of Scripture in order to explain them clandestinely and to preach them to one another. The mysteries of the faith are not to (be) explained rashly to anyone. Usually in fact, they cannot be understood by everyone but only by those who are qualified to understand them with informed intelligence. The depth of the divine Scriptures is such that not only the illiterate and uninitiated have difficulty understanding them, but also the educated and the gifted.”

Pope Innocent III decreed, “We prohibit laymen possessing copies of the Old and New Testament. We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular.” (meaning in their country’s native language, as the Papal Church only allowed their priests to read it in Latin).

Pope Pius IV said, “The Bible is not for the people; whosoever will be saved must renounce it. It is a forbidden book. Bible societies are satanic contrivances.”

The Little Book of Revelation 10 is the printed Bible, which was needed after the Roman Catholic Popes relentlessly burned Bibles and only taught in Latin, as to create a famine for the Word of God.

Luther, a Catholic, was woken up by Christ, to measure what the Popes proclaimed against the Word of God, and he found that the Catholic Church is an apostate Church, the Harlot Church of Revelation 17.

To say that Catholics don’t worship Mary is lacking in integrity, for the Popes have proclaimed that she is the co-redeemer, the intercessor and that salvation is through her.

Pope John Paul II said, “The truth of the Assumption, defined by Pius XII, is reaffirmed by the Second Vatican Council, which thus expresses the Church’s faith: “Preserved free from all guilt of original sin, the Immaculate Virgin was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory upon the completion of her earthly sojourn. She was exalted by the Lord as Queen of the Universe…For the Mother of Christ is glorified as ‘Queen of the Universe‘.”

The Bible says, “For all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Pope Pius XI said, “What will it cost you, oh Mary, to hear our prayer? What will it cost you to save us? Has not Jesus placed in your hands all the treasures of His grace and mercy? You sit crowned Queen at the right hand of your son: your dominion reaches as far as the heavens and to you are subject the earth and all creatures dwelling thereon. Your dominion reaches even down into the abyss of hell, and you alone, oh Mary, save us from the hands of Satan.”

The Bible says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Pius IX said, “God has committed to the Blessed Virgin Mary the treasury of all good things in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace and all salvation.”

The Bible says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Pope Leo XIII said, “With equal truth it may be said that of the great treasury of all graces given to us by Our Lord—for grace and truth came by Jesus Christ—nothing comes to us except through Mary’s mediation, for such is God’s Will. Thus, as no man goes to the Father but by the Son, so no one goes to Christ except through his mother.”

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1

Pope Benedict XV declared, “To such extent did Mary suffer and almost die with her suffering and dying Son; to such extent did she surrender her maternal rights over her Son for: man’s salvation . . that we may rightly say she redeemed the human race together with Christ.”

The Bible says, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)” Galatians 3:13

Pope John Paul II said, “Preserved free from all guilt of original sin, the Immaculate Virgin was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory upon the completion of her earthly sojourn. She was exalted by the Lord as Queen of the Universe. For the Mother of Christ is glorified as ‘Queen of the Universe‘.”

The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.” Jeremiah 7:18

Pope Leo XIII said, “O Virgin most holy, none abounds in the knowledge of God except through thee; none, O Mother of God, obtains salvation except through thee, none receives a gift from the throne of mercy except through thee.”

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

The Bible forbids us to bow down to or worship any image, including Mary, Peter and the Pope. The Catechism removed God’s second commandment which forbids idol worship, and split the tenth commandment in two, to fill the gap.

You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 26:1

As for faith and works, the Roman Catholic Church declared at the Council of Trent (Canon 9), “If anyone says that the sinner is justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, and that it is not in any way necessary that he be prepared and disposed by the action of his own will, let him be anathema (damned to hell).”

The Bible says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Maybe you don’t do all of those things, but the Popes of Rome clearly teach those concepts, and they are your leaders. Jesus says to you and all Catholics to “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.“ Revelation 18:4

Grace and peace and love to you in Jesus’ name, David

  5. Catholics know that the bestselling “Left Behind” books and movies have grossly perverted Catholicism’s biblical “rapture” doctrine – the only “rapture” view before 1830.
The 2000-year-old Catholic “rapture” occurs AFTER the final “tribulation” (post-tribulation) while the 185-year-old evangelical Protestant “rapture” supposedly occurs BEFORE it (pre-tribulation) and is said to be “imminent.”
All Catholics should read journalist Dave MacPherson’s “The Rapture Plot” (available by calling 800.643.4645) – the most accurate documentation on the history of the pretrib rapture which began in British cultic circles in 1830. By twisting Scripture, this new doctrine gave folks the (false) hope of being evacuated from earth before the chaos found in the book of Revelation.
“The Rapture Plot” reveals, for the first time, how a Plymouth Brethren historian, after John Darby’s death, secretly and dishonestly changed the earliest “rapture” writings of the Irvingites (the first group publicly teaching a pretrib rapture) so that he could wrongfully credit P.B. leader Darby with “dispensationalism” as well as with that rapture view! (Some still view Darby as the “father of dispensationalism” even though MacPherson’s book amply proves that Darby wasn’t first or original with any crucial aspect of that system but subtly plagiarized others!)
The leading pretrib rapture merchandisers (Scofield, Lindsey, LaHaye etc.) are openly anti-Catholic and believe that the Antichrist during the coming tribulation will be headquartered in Rome (and you can guess where!).
For more shocks Google “Catholics Did NOT Invent the Rapture,” “The Real Manuel Lacunza,” “Pseudo-Ephraem Taught Pretrib – NOT!,” “John Darby Did NOT Invent the Rapture,” “Margaret Macdonald’s Rapture Chart” (she originated the pretrib rapture!), “Edward Irving is Unnerving,” “Famous Rapture Watchers,” “Evangelicals Use Occult Deception,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” and “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty.”

    • Thank you for your comment Jesse 🙂 The problem with your argument is that the whole concept of a 7-year tribulation, on which the pre-tribulation rapture concept is based, is wrong, as the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D. http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/70-weeks-of-daniel-covenant-deception/

It was the Jesuits of Rome who created the concept of the future 70th week of Daniel, featuring a one-man antichrist, as they sought to deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome, as the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified them as the Little Horn of Daniel, the Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the antichrist beast of Revelation.

Here is a study that shows how the leaven of the Jesuit’s deception spread through Darby, Scofield, and then to Dallas Theological Seminary. http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/jesuit-end-times-antichrist-deception/

The Jesuits of Rome are the Earth beast of Revelation 13, who spread around the world as priests (lamb-like), preaching a false salvation message, which causes 1.2 Catholics to revere/worship the Pope. But the high-level Jesuits worship Satan and speak as the dragon, and they are pushing the world into their New World Order.

Jesus has lovingly called you to, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.“ Revelation 18:4

Come out of her and know true salvation, which is by faith alone, in the atoning work of the Lamb of God.

The CREATURE’s job is to prepare for the first encounter with his Master, the very same moment when Christ calls the creature. Our end could be this very day, week, month, year or in 100 years -it doesn’t matter for if we are ready what else?

Scripture clearly indicates that the Elect will be gathered up to meet the Lord in the Air when He returns to rescue them OUT of the Great Tribulation, at SEAL 6 of the Scroll of the Lamb and immediately prior to the outpouring of the Wrath of God, at Seal 7. Yeshua Himself affirms this @ Matthew 24

    • Thank you for your comment Kristin 🙂 You’re missing the point of this study. There is no 7-year tribulation period because the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week. There are many studies on this website that prove that fact. So if there is no 7-year tribulation, then there is no pre-trib and mid-trib position to be had.

The prophecies about 1,260 days, such as ’42 months’; ‘time and times and half a time’; were fulfilled during 1,260 years, from 538-1798 A.D., when the Roman Catholic Church was in power.

The 1,290 and 1,335 days of Great Tribulation in Daniel 12 were fulfilled from 66-70 A.D., when 1.1 million Jews died from famine, pestilence, infighting, crucifixion and by the Roman sword. Here’s a link to the Daniel 12 study http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/daniel-12-prophecy-deception/

So the prophecies about 1,260 days; 1,290 days; 1,335 days; 42 months; and ‘time and times and half a time’; are not 3 1/2 years of Great Tribulation at the end of time, which once again removes the pre-trib position.

As for the 6th seal, it has nothing to do with the rapture. Watch these videos which explain the fulfillment of the seals, trumpets and bowls. http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/revelation-seals-trumpets-and-bowls-fulfillment/

4:16-17-ish, etc….is about the noisiest verse in the Bible—-the Lord Himself
will descend, the a shout, a trumpet, the voice of an archangel, and the dead
in Christ will be resurrected and go into the sky. Then Jesus’ people who are
still alive on the Earth will be changed into their perfect resurrection bodies where they stand…and go up, too. And be ever with the Lord (also leaving
no one HERE to start a Kingdom, by the way). Until the end of the 1,000 years mentioned in Revelation, when Satan will be bound a thousand years HERE on Earth, while God’s people review the judgments of Elohim against those who did not choose to take part in the life they offer, and Satan cools his heels here in a not-very-wonderful Earth.

        • Hi Randy,

I read through that page and here is my response.

Simple logic says that the 70th week follows the 69th week, otherwise having a 70 week prophecy makes no sense.

The text doesn’t not define a gap between the 69th and 70th week, so we should not insert one.

If a 70 week prophecy is not fulfilled in 70 weeks, it is invalid.

The author says “The 69 weeks ended on Palm Sunday, the day which saw the first coming of Christ as “Messiah the Prince” enter into His Holy city.”

Scripture says that Messiah would appear AFTER 69 weeks, not at the end of the 69th week. After 69 weeks, means in the 70th week.

His ministry started at age 30, when He was baptized, not when He was entering Jerusalem to be killed.

Scripture says that He is killed halfway through the week. What week? The 7 years of the 70th week of Daniel of course.

The author says “The latter half of the 70th Week sees the trampling of Jerusalem, the reign of the Antichrist, and the Great Tribulation” “This final awesome day will come on day 1290. (Dan.12:11)”

Daniel 12 describes the desolation of the temple, city and Jews, from 66-70 A.D. Read http://theolivetdiscourse.com/daniel-12-is-not-about-an-end-times-antichrist/

This matches Messiah’s warning in the Olivet Discourse that the temple would be desolated. Read http://theolivetdiscourse.com/

Messiah sent the ‘people of the prince’ of Daniel 9, the Roman army, to desolate the Jews, city and temple.

Messiah and His disciples confirmed with the Jews for seven years, that He is the promised Messiah who ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb.

Messiah’s whole ministry happened in the 70th week of Daniel, from age 30 when He was baptized until He was crucified. The 70th week of Daniel is not future.

The result of the Jews rejecting Messiah and delivered Him up to be killed; was that the city and temple and Jews were desolated, just like Daniel 9:26-27 declares.

He has fulfilled the four Spring feasts of Passover (where has was sacrificed as the spotless Lamb of God); Unleavened Bread (because He was sinless); First Fruits (because He rose again) and Pentecost (when He poured out His Holy Spirit.

The three Fall feasts represent His return for us, His judgment of us and His marriage to us. You can read about them and the context of His return on this study http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/the-holy-feast-days-of-god-deception/

We also can understand the context of His return by knowing what prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled, so that we know where we are at on the fulfillment timeline. This study shows what has been fulfilled, where we are now on the timeline and what will happen next as we await His return. http://christianitybeliefs.org/revelation-timeline/

Keep learning and growing in the faith!

    • Read this article’s section on the Scofield. Bible. It was written in 1908 by a lawyer with no theological training, who ALTERED THE BIBLE AND ADDED THE RAPTURE. There is no rapture in any other version of the bible or in the original Hebrew.
It was financed by the Rothschilds and also supports Zionism, ANOTHER ALTERATION OF THE BIBLE; the Jews were banished from Israel by Yahwey and banned from returning until the coming of the Messiah.
The Scofield bible is an end-time deception that appeared during the 20th century.
      Read the King James version.
