Steven Ben-DeNoon Is A False Prophecy Teacher

by David on September 27, 2015

Steven Ben-DeNoon seems authoritative with all of his information and use of Bible verses, but I would steer clear of him, as he is teaching false prophecy fulfillment explanations.

Christians seem to blindly trust him because he is a Jew in Israel, but we have to compare what he teaches to the Word of God and the true historical fulfillment of prophecy.

In his Jewish Man Reveals Identity of the Antichrist video, Steven Ben-DeNoon gives a false explanation of the fulfillment of Daniel 11.

He proclaimed, “It’s the first time that we are aware that the identity of what is know to be the antichrist, or for Jewish people the ‘prince that shall come in Daniel’s prophecy, that we can literally discover and know who he really is.”

Seriously?!?  The Protestant Reformers and the great theologians of the 16th-20th centuries, who wrote whole Bible commentaries; all proclaimed that the office of the Papacy, the Popes of Rome, are the antichrist.  All of them, not just Pope Francis!

He wrongly assigned the ‘people of the prince’ of Daniel 9 to a supposed end-times antichrist.

The ‘people of the prince’ of Daniel 9 was the Roman army of Prince Titus, who were used to desolate the temple, city and Jews; fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel 9.  It is not about the end times!!!  Read The People Of The Prince Of Daniel 9

He proclaimed, “Recently such a scripture from Daniel 11 was fulfilled and the world went right past it. This fulfillment revealed the identity of the Antichrist.”

When Messiah said “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:“:, He was pointing back to Daniel 9, not Daniel 11, so the whole premise of this lesson is false!

The abomination of Desolation was the appearance of the Roman army in 66 A.D., which was the sign that the city, temple and Jews, were close to being destroyed.  Read The Abomination Of Desolation

He signed off with “I’m Stephen Ben DeNoon, with Israeli News Live, your prophetic moment.

You don’t get to proclaim that you’re not a prophet, when you sit there are provide explanations for prophecy fulfillment!  That is disinguinous!

Daniel 11 is not about the end times!!!  It gives the continuous historical narrative of events of the kingdoms of Medo-Persia, Greece and Antiochus Epiphanes, and then Rome.

Alexander the Great of Greece rose up and ruled with great dominion.

The Seleucids (kings of Syria, “the north”) and the Ptolemies (kings of Egypt, “the south”) had incessant wars.

Antiochus Epiphanes, leader of the Seleucids, the vile person, surrounded Jerusalem with his armies (the abomination of desolation) and killed 10’s of thousands of Jews. They defiled the sanctuary and caused the daily sacrifice to be taken away for 2,300 days (Daniel 8:14). His persecution of the Jews began in 171 B.C. and the temple was cleansed on December 25, 165 B.C., which is 2,300 days.

The Maccabean uprisings delivered the Jews in the reign of Antiochus, and faithfully served their people as rulers and priests for 130 years.

Roman King Herod exalted himself above all gods (leaders).  To protect his kingdom, he decreed for the slaughter of the babes of Bethlehem, in an attempt to kill baby Jesus.

Caesar Augustus conquered many countries such as Egypt, and took power of their treasures.

The Jewish Maccabean Revolt was a conflict, lasting from 167 to 160 BC, between a Judean rebel group known as the Maccabees and the Seleucid Empire.

The Seleucid Empire was a Hellenistic state ruled by the Seleucid dynasty founded by Seleucus I Nicator following the division of the empire created by Alexander the Great.

So once again, the prophecy fulfillment explanations from Steven Ben-DeNoon are false, and misleading believers.

In his Are The Two Witnesses Here? video, which was posted on 08-23-15, Stephen gives a futuristic explanation of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11.

The Two Witnesses are the Old and New Testament (the olive trees) which provided oil to the Church of Messiah during the church eras of Thyatira and Sardis (the two lampstands). They witnessed against the Popes of Rome during their 1,260 year reign of power from 538-1798 A.D.

The Roman Catholic Church worked so hard during the Dark Ages, at eliminating the saints and burning the Scriptures, that in 1514 A.D., the papal church pronounced them as dead.

And there was silence, with no opposition to Rome for 3 1/2 years.  All the while Messiah was having Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, read the Scriptures to measure what the Popes of Rome taught against the Scriptures (the rod, the rule). And he found that they are an apostate church, the Harlot church of Revelation 17.

Messiah’s message to the Church of Sardis was that they were dead… but then He told them to take action, to come alive again.  He was proclaiming that they were dead spiritually.  And they were after being persecuted so violently by the Popes of Rome.

And exactly 3 1/2 years after the witnesses were proclaimed as dead, Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis on the door of the Church of Wittenburg, which sparked the Protestant Reformation, which brought the true Church back to life.

And this led to the Scriptures being translated and with the advent of the printing press, being spread around the world in books (the little book of Revelation 10). And the witnesses took back control of the European nations which the Popes had controlled.

Here is the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 study which explain this in more detail.

So don’t listen to false teachers like Steven Ben DeNoon who don’t understand the fulfillment of prophecy, and thereby deceive you.

In his 70th Week Of Daniel Only Months Away! video which was published on Oct 23, 2013… Oops!  Steven said “When they make a covenant, to create a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, that’s where your seven year tribulation begins.”

The concept of a future 70th week of Daniel is a deception of the enemy.

The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D., when Messiah and His disciples preached the New Covenant to the Jews for seven years.  They confirmed that He was the promised Messiah who ratified the covenant made with Abraham, with His blood as the Passover Lamb.

Read Confirming The 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Covenant For Seven Years

In his ‘Pope Francis US Visit Sets Prophetic Stage’ video, Steven says that the Revelations Chapter 6 Horse Riders are set in Motion!

His wife told him that the first horse, the white horse of Revelation, is now riding. He said that the antichrist Pope is switching the crown of Revelation 6:2 from America to Russia.

The white horse represents the conquering Roman Empire, from 96 – 180 A.D., as it was a time of its greatest expansion and their military conquests were celebrated by riding white horses in their victory parades. Cretan Roman Emperors Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius, each had a bow as their symbol. The crown represents the laurel wreathes of victory that were worn by the Caesars after their armies had won a military battle.

He says that Russia is the new military superpower of the Pope, but the word of God declares that it is Washington D.C., which will be the military power of the One World Government.

Revelation 16 describes a great earthquake, which symbolizes political upheaval, in this case the biggest one of all, the formation of the One World Government.  The great city of Rome, representing the Jesuits of Rome, will be split three-ways.  The religion part is already based in the city-state of Vatican City; the financial part is already based in the city-state of London; and the military part is already based in the city-state of Washington D.C.

He says that the Lord shows him that Russia, is the Red army, which will fulfill the red horse in the second seal of Revelation 6.

The Red horse represents a bloody time in the Roman Empire from 185-284 A.D., as it went into a phase of revolution and civil war for 90 years, during which there were 32 emperors and 27 contenders for the throne.

To his credit, he says the Pope is the antichrist, which is correct; but he is only pointing to the current Pope; not the office of the Papacy, which is the antichrist sea beast of Revelation 13.

He applies the fulfillment of the sea beast to the present time, not the past. He asks who is able to war with the beast?

The answer is that the sea beast reigned for 1,260 years, 538-1798 A.D., when the Popes of Rome ruled over the kings of the world, and nobody was able to make war with the Popes during this time.

He says that the Pope will blaspheme against God.

This has already been fulfilled during their 1,260 reign, when they proclaimed to be God and to forgive sins, which are the two items by which Messiah was accused of blasphemy.

He pointed to the future and said that the Antichrist would make war with the saints.

But again, that was already fulfilled in the past, when during the Dark Ages and Inquisition, they killed over 50 million saints.

He referenced Jonathan Cahn, another false prophecy teacher, and Sid Roth, a deceiver; both of which are futurists; neither of which point to the Jesuits of Rome as the reigning power, and the enemy of Messiah and His Church.

He projects all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls to being fulfilled in the future.

The truth is that the riders of the horses in the seals of Revelation rode a long time ago, which lead to the decline and fall of the Roman Empire; from famine, pestilence and civil war. Read Revelation 6 – 7 Seals Overview

Dear child of GOD, as you fully know prophesy has a unmistakable duality. Or we wouldn’t have ezekial. 38 and 39. All of the bible is from our father and HIS wisdom is unsearchable. .please for me use discernment. .because most (future) prophesy has not happened. .us humans make the mistake of reading into HIS word what we think GOD is saying, I have been doing this research all of my adult life, there is so much change on this earth every day that it seems to be impossible to put the pieces together and we now have the internet to help slice and divide information. The spirit of God is the way that a human can discern the truth..I have done what you have and Steven Denoon…both of you are Gods children. You have a passion for the truth, may. Gods peace be with you

David August 9, 2017 at 12:23 pm

Lynn, there may be ‘duality’ in generic descriptions (famines, earthquakes, etc), but there is only one antichrist beast, the Pope of Rome.

There is only one 70th week of Daniel, and it was fulfilled after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D.; in which the ministry of Messiah occurred. So it is not a futuristic 7-year tribulation period.

There is only one fulfillment of Messiah’s warnings in the Olivet Discourse, which culminated in the temple, city and Jews being desolated in 70 A.D.; in that generation, just like Messiah proclaimed.

There is only one fulfillment of the seals of Revelation, which caused the decline of the Roman Empire; from bloody civil wars (red), economic collapse (black) and death from famine and pestilence (pale).

There is only one fulfillment of the trumpet judgments of Revelation, which caused the fall of the Roman Empire; which removed the last Western Roman Emperor from power in 476 A.D., which led to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfilling prophecy as the Little Horn of Daniel, the Son of Perdition and the antichrist beast.

So though Steven Ben-Denoon may be a nice guy and he may be genuine, many of his prophecy fulfillment explanations are wrong, so he is deceiving people.

I pray that you will search out the studies that I provided links to, because it would appear that you are believing the false narrative about how the end-times will play out. Get the oil of truth while you can.

Thank you, I will look to Daniel but ask our father for holy spirit guidance because as humans,I don’t want to fall into mankind’s categories again: pretrib, midrib, postrib, or uneducated, my love for our father in heaven is the only ultimate joy.if I am not at work I am reading and praying. Your thesis resounds of E.G.White. wonderful material. .as for your assumptions, no Im not futuristic, but and believe me,I hate that word..Revelation 12,my dear brother in Christ hasn’t happened as well as many other signs, my point not received in the love meant was to cut Steve some slack,we will all fall on a point or two, example: I love God because he loved me first…keep it simple! The old testament veils the new testament and the new testament reveals the old testament. .A little play on words will change the meaning of a sentence…thank you again in Christ’s love

Well Lynn, what I teach is what the great theologians taught during the 16th – 20th centuries. They taught the historical fulfillment of prophecy, before the futuristic and preteristic deceptions were created by the Jesuits of Rome, to deflect blame away from the antichrist Popes. What Steven Ben-Denoon teaches is futurism.

These are a few of my favorite theologians:
Albert Barnes’ Notes on the New and Old Testaments.
Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible.
Commentary from the 1599 edition of the Geneva Bible.
Henry Grattan Guinness – Romanism And The Reformation.
John Gill’s Exposition of the Entire Bible.
Matthew Poole’s Commentary on the Holy Bible.

As for E.G. White and SDA’s, they teach the historical view of prophecy, so that is why the explanations on this website may seem familiar. I’ve never studied her writings, and SDA’s get quite a few prophecy fulfillment explanations wrong.

If Steven Ben-Denoon just got a few prophecy explanations wrong, we could cut him slack, as nobody knows everything. But the majority of what he teaches about Bible prophecy is wrong, and it ultimately comes from the enemy, who created these deceptions to deflect blame away from the antichrist Popes of Rome, and to deceive the end time saints.

Messiah will not cut false prophecy teachers any slack, because they are leaving the end times saints woefully unprepared.

Actually, Revelation 12 has been fulfilled. Revelation has four basic layers, which describe events that span from when it was written, until Messiah returns.

When the four layers are overlaid, you see the full view of the explanation.

Revelation 12-13 gives the narrative of the different phases of the Roman beast, the 4th and last beast that is described in Daniel 2 and 7.

Revelation 12 describes the mighty Roman Empire, in which Satan was exalted in all of their pagan god worship. He used the Roman Empire to try to kill Messiah as a baby, to crucify Messiah, and then to try to wipe out the Early Church, killing 10 million saints.

Revelation describes the rise of the Popes to power among the 10 civil kingdoms of the fallen Roman Empire, after the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 A.D.

The Pope fulfilled prophecy as the Little Horn of Daniel 7, when he plucked out 3 of the kingdoms, when they would not bow down to his authority.

The Pope fulfilled prophecy as the Son of Perdition, when the ‘restrainer’, the Roman Emperor was removed from power, and the Pope took authority of the leader of the church/state of Rome. And the Popes sit among the true church (the temple of God) and proclaim to be God, to be Jesus Christ, to forgive sins and to provide salvation.

The saints blood cried out for the Father to exact vengeance against those who persecuted them. And it was carried out, as the seal and trumpet judgments caused the decline and fall of the mighty Roman Empire.

So ultimately the saints prevailed over the mighty Roman Empire, as they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.

Here’s a Revelation summary study, which you can print out; which gives a summary of the fulfillment. It shows you what’s already been fulfilled (most of it); where we are at now on the fulfillment timeline (the 6th bowl); and what will happen next as we await Messiah’s return.

I pray that you read the studies, because the deception is grand, as to deceive the very elect.

Blessings to you in your search for truth!

Thank you again, I apologize, this is the first time that I have ever discussed this with anyone on the inernet, I was just getting tired of the stone throwing, I am very old school and very ashamed of how Gods children act, please except my apology. .I know whom and what you believe, and agree,(but) there’s that word again…The only line drawn in the dirt was Christ, he was and is,and will be forever the same, as a single grain of sand in an oyster makes a pearl,,,,even I can bring a child to Christ even if I might believe in the wrong century of his coming..I have read even enoch, there is so much to read, but some food for thought, Satan taught the children of God how to read and write, Gods reply to that. ..was- you showed them useless knowledge. I guess that a photographic memory wasnt enough, peace to you, As Christ gives.

Is this guy “steven DeNoon” a terrorist? He is one of the people my brother says is backing him in building a ministry. To me it sounds like a cult not a ministry.

Christine Schmael July 5, 2017 at 2:35 am

I agree with the historicist view of Revelation.

God has shown us the entire course of history from the resurection until the return of Jesus.

I realised the Mid-East centred, futurtic view is wrong for 3 reasons:

1) Daniel does not mention any gap occurring between week 69 and week 70. Such essential information would not be left out.
1) It does not make sense to know that precisely 7 years after the signing of a peace treaty, Jesus will return. This is not “a thief in the night” event. This idea is dangerous, because we are weak and this view makes us think we can delay making changes in our lives until the event comes nearer.
3) Awating the “military battle” of Armagddeon as the precursor of Christ’s return actually causes Christians to be happy about the destruction and depravity that is occurring in the Middle East.

David July 5, 2017 at 9:16 am

Thank you for sharing your insight Christine! Most people oppose me about this page, because they have been programmed with the false, futuristic explanations of prophecy fulfillment, which is what Steven Ben-DeNoon teaches. It’s great to see that you understand the fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel.

Here’s a link to my Revelation Timelime Decoded summary study, which shows what part of Revelation has been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years (most of it); where we are at now on the fulfillment timeline (the 6th bowl); and what will happen next as we await Messiah’s return.

mark simpson August 11, 2017 at 12:27 am

You David are the one that is mistaken about a great many things and seem to have a axe to grind. Revelation was not fullfilled in the past, hence why it is called prophetic. You read your commentaries as it is God’s word.
It’s just looking through a glass darkly. Which I think you excel at.
Please ask for your money back on your education, it is obvious it has not paid off.

David August 11, 2017 at 8:03 am

Here’s my Revelation Timeline Decoded website Mark, prove me wrong.

And here is my 70th week of Daniel website, which proves that Messiah’s ministry occurred in the 70th week of Daniel; and that proclaiming that it is a futuristic 7-year tribulation period, denies the very time that Messiah died on the cross. Messiah accused the Jewish leaders of not knowing the time of His visitation, but sadly, most Christians today don’t know the time of His visitation; in the 70th week of Daniel.

I suspect that you have not read my studies, which prove that what Steven Ben-DeNoon teaches is false. Rather, you are blindly trusting him and other prophecy teachers; and just offering up rude opinions.

Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago, so it was prophetic (future-looking) when it was written.

Revelation 1:1 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.”

Ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That none of the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled for 1,900+ years, and then all of them would be fulfilled during the final few years?

Or, that the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled during the time from when they were written, until Messiah returns?

Doesn’t it make more sense that Revelation describes what Messiah’s saints would face during all of the years until Messiah returns?

Revelation describes the historical battle between the Satan-empowered leader of the Roman beast (Emperors, Popes, Jesuit Generals) against Messiah and His saints.

I pray that you seek the truth of prophecy fulfillment, for the exacting fulfillment of Revelation proves that the Elohim of the Bible is the One True Elohim. But the enemy has hidden the historical fulfillment, and pushed that witness aside.

David August 9, 2017 at 6:53 pm

No worries Lynn. I understand what you’re saying. Trust me when I say that I would rather not expose people’s false prophecy teachings. But my role is to help the saints understand the fulfillment of prophecy, so that they are prepared for how the end times will play out, and for Messiah’s return.

People like Steven Ben-DeNoon are so gentle and sincere, that people tend to blindly trust what he says. And I don’t believe that he is misleading people on purpose.

Ultimately, all that matters is that people have a covenant relationship with the Father, through the Son.

But the truth needs to be proclaimed; and unfortunately, sometimes that means exposing false teachings.

Keep learning and growing in The Way! Contact me anytime with questions or insight on the studies that I provided links to, as the historical explanations are contrary to what most people teach these days, as the deception is grand.
