This End Times Deception study reviews a Facebook post of Paul Sides of SabbathCovenant.com about the antichrist, whom he said is Jesus Christ.
His comment is based on his book The Antichrist Revealed.

The Antichrist “image” enters the Temple (we invite Jesus into our lives, the Temple of Yahuah),
Paul Sides is basing this narrative on verses that say that we are the temple of Yahuah. But in 2 Thessalonians 2, the Apostle Paul is referring to the Church of Messiah as the temple of Yahuah. Messiah is the cornerstone, the apostles are the foundation, and we are the little stones which make up the walls.
“So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the set-apart ones and members of the household of Elohim, having been built upon the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Yahusha Messiah Himself being chief corner-stone, in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place in Yahuah,” Ephesians 2:19-21
The Popes of Rome, who fulfill the role of the Son of Perdition, pretend to be a part of the true Church, thus they sit in temple.
We can prove this out with the proper understanding of the fulfillment of Revelation 11:1-2.
“And a reed like a measuring rod was given to me, and the messenger stood, saying, “Rise and measure the Dwelling Place of Elohim, and the altar, and those worshipping in it. But cast out the court which is outside the Dwelling Place, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the gentiles, and they shall trample the set-apart city under foot for forty-two months” Rev 11:1-2
This was fulfilled when Messiah had Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, read the Scriptures and compare what the Popes of Rome taught against the measuring rod, the Scriptures.
He found that the Roman Catholic Church was the Harlot of Revelation 17, an apostate church, who was not part of the true temple, thus they were delegated to the court of the gentiles. He proclaims himself to be God (we elevate the image of a man who died, Jesus, as God in the flesh above Yahuah),
The Popes of Rome have fulfilled this when they were in their height of power during the 12th-13th centuries.
They proclaimed to be God, they proclaimed to be Jesus Christ in the flesh, they proclaimed to forgive sins and they proclaimed that salvation was through them.

He stops the sacrifices on the Altar (we eat ham on Easter and put our faith in the Ishtar Pig, pouring out the blood of a Pig on the alter of our hearts. Not keeping Passover, the sacrifices offered by Yahusha before the Throne of Yahuah, as a Lamb that has been slaughtered, are stopped on our behalf)
I assume that Paul Sides is referring to Daniel 9:27 which says “And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall put an end to slaughtering and meal offering.”
That passage is not referring to an end times antichrist desolating the temple, but rather to Yahusha Messiah, who ended the need for temple sacrifices when He died as the Passover Lamb.

He commits the most abominable sacrifice on the altar (a pig) which destroys the Temple (not having the proper sacrifice for sin, we not passed over the second death and the Temple of Yahuah, our bodies, are destroyed).
The abomination of desolation that Messiah was referring to in the Olivet Discourse, was the Roman army, the ‘people of the Prince‘ of Daniel 9:26, (who were pagans and an abomination to the Jews), who came and desolated the temple in 70 A.D.

Paul Sides tends to spiritualize many things. But the abomination of desolation had a physical fulfillment.
When the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem, they cut off the food supply; which led to 1.1 million Jews dying from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, crucifixion (when they snuck outside the city walls at night to find food) and by the Roman sword.
Matthew 24:15-16 “So when you “see” the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)
Messiah’s purpose in the Olivet Discourse was not to give His people signs of His second coming, but to warn that generation of believers of the approaching destruction of Jerusalem, and to give to them a sure sign, so that they could secure their safety by fleeing to the mountains.
Matthew 24:15-16 – “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ ; spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”
Mark 13:14 – “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ ; spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”
Luke defined what the Abomination of Desolation was, an army surrounding holy Jerusalem.
Luke 21:20-21 – “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.”
Matthew and Mark recorded that Messiah referred to Daniel’s warning about the abomination of desolation.
The passage Messiah was referring to is Daniel 9:26-27, which stated that because of the Jews abominations, because they would deliver the promised Messiah up to be killed; the ‘people of the prince’, the abomination of desolation, would come and destroy the temple and the city.

That is what “let the reader understand” means! It is a Spiritually appraised event!
Paul Sides declares “let the reader understand” but as you can see, he obviously does not understand what the abomination of desolation is.
Once again, the explanations of Paul Sides, who writes as Rav Sha’ul, deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome.

o’bama is probably the “false prophet”. It wouldn’t surprise me if Soros were the anti-Christ (I don’t think it’s hitlery, though as with o’bama, she thinks she’s smart enough and on par with God as Satan thinks)

Only the Popes of Rome match that description, as the Roman Catholic Church matches the description of the harlot dressed in scarlet and purple, who holds a golden cup of abominations, in Revelation 17.
