This study will look at what the Word of God says about the rapture (catching up of the saints), as too many people speculate about the meaning of verses, while the Bible is very straight-forward about the sequence of events.
The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week, when Messiah confirmed the Everlasting New Covenant with His blood sacrifice. He and His disciples offered the Gospel to the Jews for 7 years, after which it was also offered to the Gentiles. So it can’t be a future 7-year tribulation period, which invalidates the concept of a pre-tribulation rapture. To read a Bible study that proves this, click on
70 Weeks Of Daniel Deception
In Matthew 28:18-20, Messiah said He would be with us unto the end of the world, not just until a pre-trib rapture.
“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
In John 6:40, 44 and 54, Messiah repeatedly tells us that He will raise up the dead at the last day.
“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
“Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2 says that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night to those who are in spiritual darkness.
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
Then verses 4-6 say “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
If we are abiding in Messiah’s light, then we won’t be caught by surprise.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 says that the dead shall rise at the last trumpet
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”
The followers of Messiah who are alive when Jesus returns, will be changed AFTER the dead rise, at the END.
Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.”
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 tells us the rapture won’t be secret and that we’ll be ‘caught up’ after the dead rise first.
“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
This is the same ‘not so secret’ event as Matthew 24:29-31, where the dead rise first, then the alive saints.
In John 16:33, Messiah told us we would have tribulation, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Paul tells us in I Thessalonians 5:9, to be sober in waiting for the return of Messiah, but we will not face His wrath.
“But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”
So the Bible is telling us that people in the end of time will go through tribulation and will face the beast system. At the end, the dead will rise and then the living elect will be caught up in the air to meet Messiah.
Then His wrath will be poured out on the Earth to judge those who have rejected Him.
Messiah will come for His bride on the Feast of the Trumpets.
God gave the Israelites seven feasts to celebrate, all which pointed to the promised Messiah. Messiah has fulfilled four of the feasts, such as when He died as the Passover lamb, in exact detail at the precise time.
The next feast to be fulfilled is the Feast of Trumpets, which represents Jesus return for His bride.
Knowing that Messiah is exact in His fulfillment of prophecy, and knowing that the Feast of Trumpets represents Jesus return for His bride, we know the context of Jesus return.
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
Is it not logical that Messiah will return during the Feast of Trumpets?
10 days after the Feast of Trumpets is the Feast of Atonement, when Christ will judge His Church.
15 days after the Feast of Trumpets is the Feast of Tabernacles, when we will celebrate the wedding feast.
So you can clearly see that the judgment and wedding feast occur shortly after Messiah returns to gather His bride, not seven years beforehand.
To read more about the seven feasts and how they point to Jesus second coming, click on No One Knows The Day And Hour Of Jesus Return
The “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” is at the end, not 7 years before Messiah returns on His white horse.
Revelation 19:8-9 says that the bride is not ready until Revelation 19 and we are at the END of tribulation!
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
Then two sentences later in verse 11 we find the “Second Coming of Messiah”,
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”
As you can see, anyone who teaches that believers will be raptured, and will be at the wedding feast with Jesus, while everyone on Earth is enduring seven years of tribulation, is teaching contrary to the Word of Elohim.
Followers of Messiah have faced tribulation for the last 2,000 years, as it is part of our purification and testing.
Messiah’s disciples were persecuted and killed. Stephen the Apostle was stoned. Paul was beaten, stoned and persecuted. Millions of Christians have died at the hands of the Jews, the Romans and the Roman Catholic Church. Today, many Christians in other countries are being persecuted and killed for their faith.
Why would Elohim treat us any differently? Do we think that we are better than those who died for their faith?
Messiah told us in Revelation 3:14-16 that we are the Church of Laodicea, and He said that we are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. And because we are ‘lukewarm’, He will spit us out of His mouth, unless we repent of our ways.
Do you understand how effective Satan’s pre-tribulation rapture myth has been?
It has caused us to not prepare for hardship, as the financial system collapses.
You need to be prepared, so that during times of tribulation, you can protect yourself and your family. If you don’t, then every day will be spent trying to survive, instead of being spent helping those around you. When the world is suffering in the last days, people will be more desperate than ever for the Good News of Messiah .
It has caused us to not be prepared spiritually and unable to discern the truth about Satan’s end time plans.
You need to be alert, so that you’re not deceived by false prophets who tell you that the rapture has happened, or that the Messiah has come. You need to be strong with the full armor of Elohim protecting you.
Satan will make the world desperate for a savior who can provide for them and give them peace.
With the pending financial collapse; worldwide shortages of food and water; increases in wars and violence; and then the appearance of a false messiah… the world will be ripe to accept the mark of the beast.
Revelation 12:12,17 says “woe to the ones dwelling on the Earth, because the devil came down to you having great anger, knowing that he has a little time!”, “he is enraged and will make war with those having the testimony of Christ.”
You need be prepared to give an answer for your faith, so that you don’t submit to the beast system and deny Messiah.
Antichrist is not just one man in the end, but a system that has been working since the time of Messiah.
Satan’s deception has caused Christians to look only to an end-time antichrist, instead of looking to all the institutions that have been antichrist for thousands of years, and are working against Christians, such as Babylonian Judaism and the Jesuits who control the Roman Catholic Church.

Truth be told, nowhere in the Bible does it say there will be a 7 year tribulation
If you doubt that, ask your pastor where in the Bible it says that there will be a 7-year tribulation.
There will be great tribulation to be sure, but the pre-tribulation rapture myth is built around the concept of a 7-year tribulation, a futuristic 70th week of Daniel, that is not supported by the Bible.

Bible interprets itself notice in Matthew 24 it says the sign of Jesus or yeshua is after the tribulation.
Indeed it does Vance, and the time of great tribulation that’s referred to in the Olivet Discourse took place in that generation during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, when 1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
Here’s a study that explains it: https://theolivetdiscourse.com/the-great-tribulation-of-matthew-24/
But yeah there is no pre-trib that’s a false teaching by the devil the enemy. If that was a Truth then you’d see a theme of that happening throughout scripture and it’s not there. Only two people in all of scripture at least that we’re told ever Raptured IE didn’t see death and that was Enoch and Elijah. It would not be fair for some group people to not have to chose the mark or not while they all get to laugh at us from heaven, that’s shows God as a respecter of persons and he’s not.
But try telling that to Pre-tribulation believers and they scoff and call you a heretic and a blasphemer so…???
LOL.
Enoch and Elijah both died, the bible clearly teaches that all humans have died including Jesus Christ,it also says that Enoch died not having received the promise of eternal life,Elijah was taken up into the sky and he returned to the earth in another location.
HI David! What are your thoughts on Daniel 12:11-12
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days….What does this 45 day difference represent? Thanks for any insight!
He Eve, I cover Daniel 12 on this study. https://theolivetdiscourse.com/daniel-12-is-not-about-an-end-times-antichrist/
The dead in Christ rise first because they are dead ! not hard to understand. the living shall not proceed the dead this is why the dead go first then all that are still alive when Christ returns will be changed from flesh to spirt and there body’s will return to dirt. like it explains in the book of ecclesiastics. if there be two people standing together and one drops dead he went first . we can not see God in the flesh we all must be in the spirt.
NO! wrong will will still have fleshly bodies as we do now only immortal and perfect. After Christ rose he had a fleshly body just like he had before his death, as per his showing his disciple’s his wounds and allowing Thomas to put his finger in his side wound. He had the power too to go from solid to spirit as when he appeared in the room and walked through the door. We will have that same power as well when we are transformed/ transfigured. As when he first appeared on the road and told them to touch him not for he had not yet been transfigured. We will have our same bodies as we do now our flesh is not going to fall and we are not going to be wisps. As it says this body will put on immortality. The dead in Christ as it says will arise out of their graves not in spirit form but in the same flesh they had when they died. That is talking about skeletons arising back out of the grave NO! not like Zombies as Satan likes to deceive people and make them think something wicked is happening, but the earth will open up the skeletons there now will begin to move out of their graves their flesh will come upon them s before and they will once again be alive as there were. Then be caught up into heaven as whole bodies in flesh and blood and spirit and immortal
That scripture isn’t nor has is happened yet you’re not describing anything that’s real nor prophetic and you’re being a heretic. That does not describe people dying and going to heaven as a wisp that is describing their spirits going back into their bodies and flesh and then being taken up in the sky’s or heaven.
Then those that are alive since we didn’t die we don’t have our flesh peel off and become a wisp we stay whole but perfected that’s what it means by our corruption being put off and immortality coming into us.
And yes we can or at least see God as he’s supposed to be as it says in the Sermon of the mount. IE: Blessed are the pure of heart for they will see God. Pure of heart is a condition of being alive but pure of heart, meaning we that are pure of heart have no guile in us. Guile is the same as being sophisticated because sophisticated people are worldly and add all kinds of sin where none is! Also they deceive people!
Anyways no that is not talking about wisps going to heaven it’s talking about people who are in the grave now while they are skeletons of how their flesh comes back on to them their spirit comes back into them and are then caught into heaven!
It is only logical that the enemy would want people to believe in a pre trib rapture. If that hook is swallowed, then those folks will not be prepared for the famine and other trials that are coming and will have to be dependent on the system of the beast for their survival > thus thinking they have to receive the mark to buy and sell. Hindsight to know the truth that we are going to have to go through a lot of trials is what will keep most folks from selling out to the enemy. Being prepared is a key element because so many will sell their souls in order to get food for their children. Anything you put before God is an idol, even if it’s a family member or even your children. If folks truly love their children so much, then they better get prepared and be a living example to them so they won’t sell out to the enemy like they seen their parents do. Sorry to be so harsh, but this is going to be the true test of fire that burns up the lies, leaving truth in plain sight for all to see unobscured. Burning the chaff off the wheat.
So if we need to be prepers to get thru the tribulation. I get it. But how do you store, electricity, fuels, prescriptions, water, taxes, insurance, burial expenses, repairs on homes cars etc. would all these few items I list need a mark for the beast, or do we get a pass on these items. Serious I’m not being funny, contrary or irreverent. I’ve got the food covered, but the rest I can’t see how to save for. Advice please one believer to another.
Thank you so much for confirmation of things that Christ has taught me. And more thanks for making clear some other things I was not clear about.
Thanks for the article.
I was saved in 1971 partially by reading the Late Great Planet Earth.
I just assume the rapture myth was true. Like any new born babe I ate whatever I was fed. It was not until around 1970 when I pick up a book “Christians will go through the tribulation” that I began to see the truth.
Blessings…
Thank you for your comment! Yeah, Hal Lindsey and other teachers who graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, have misled people with the false futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations. Here’s a link to a page that shows how the leaven of the deceptions has spread so dramatically, that most people are deceived by them. https://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/how-the-leaven-of-the-end-times-prophecy-deceptions-spread/

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 tells us the rapture won’t be secret and that we’ll be ‘caught up’ AFTER the dead rise first.
Revelation 20 tells us that those who have part at the FIRST resurrection have ALREADY been “beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands”. Since we’ll be caught up only AFTER the dead (that have ALREADY suffered the tribulation) rise, a pre-tribulation rapture is impossible!
Thank you for sharing your insight Marc! Most pre-tribbers are basing their believe on a supposed future 7-year tribulation period; but that is a deception from the enemy, as the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time; when Messiah and His disciples preached the Gospel to the Jews and confirmed the He is the promised Messiah who ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood. http://70thweekofdaniel.com
you erroneously assume everyone gets resurrected at the same time for the first resurrection which not taught or confirmed anywhere in scripture; think harvest, First Fruits, Matt 27:52, Main harvest, 1 Cor 15;51, 1 Thess 4:16, and the Gleaning, Rev 20:4, they are all PART of the 1st res, Rev 20:6. The timing of the rapture can be found in 2 Thess 2:1 -8, Rev 3:8,4:1,4,10, & 5:9,10, backed up by Romans 5:9, 1 Thess 1:10, 4:18, 5:9, be blessed.
The harvest refers to salvation. Jesus said that fields were white for harvest even in His day. If you look at the typology in the book of Ruth, she gleaned along WITH the main harvest, not after the main harvest, and was found on the threshing floor only after all of the harvest was in. The threshing floor is not heaven, but a picture of tribulation, when the grain is separated from the chaff.
The harvest does not refer to resurrection, but to salvation. Harvesting is not a one time event, but a season. To His disciples, Jesus said, you say four months until harvest, but I say even now the fields are white for harvest. He also said, The harvest is great, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send laborers into His harvest. Harvest is about salvation, not merely resurrection. The latter passage tells us that we as believers are workers in the field gathering the harvest. The gleanings are also part of the same harvest. In the book of Ruth, the workers actually left piles of grain for Ruth to pick up. The gleanings were not a separate harvest. Ruth was actually following behind to pick up was was missed. And after the harvest, Ruth was found on the threshing floor, a picture of tribulation, safe under the wings of Boaz, and actually brought grain to Naomi the following morning.
First, I would like to thank you for your website and all of the information, I’m totally confused now. So, if I understand correctly there will be no pre-rapture, no Anti-Christ seating in the new temple etc. Can you please tell what will happen in the end times.
Thank you for your comment Gail! We’ve all been programmed to see prophecy fulfillment a certain way, so when we’re presented by a different explanation, it seems confusing.
Prophecy fulfillment is fairly straight-forward and logical. It’s the deceptions of the enemy which make it confusing.
Here’s a Bible Prophecy Made Easy summary study that I would encourage you to print out to read. It will show you how the prophecies in Daniel, 2 Thessalonians 2, and Revelation are fulfilled. And it will help you see the deceptions of the enemy. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/bible-prophecy-made-easy/
