The premise behind the modern Bible versions, such as the NIV and ESV, is that they’re easier to read, but the deception lies in the fact that they are missing words and verses, which is forbidden by God.
For example, the NIV has 64,576 (which is 10%) fewer words than the King James.
What you’ll notice is that many of those changes are in verses that validate the deity of Jesus. So grab your Bible and compare it to the King James verses listed below and you will see Satan’s pattern of removing important texts.
This is not a ‘King James only’ Bible study. Other Bibles are based on the Textus Receptus (Received Text), but the King James is the most common one, so we’ve used it for this study.
The missing or changed words are in blue.
NOTE: Your Bible version may not have all of the changes. In some cases, Bible translators inserted notations that say that some manuscripts don’t include the words or verse, which creates doubt in the mind of the reader.
In Matthew 8:29, does your Bible remove that the demons called Jesus by name, identifying Him as the Son of God?
“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”
In Matthew 25:13, does your Bible remove the text that speaks of Jesus return?
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh“
In Luke, does your Bible imply that Joseph is the biological father of Jesus?
In Luke 2:43, the KJ shows that Joseph is not Jesus biological father when it says “Joseph and his(Jesus) mother”, which is peculiar and implies a separation. By replacing the text with “his parents”, it implies that Joseph is his father.
“And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.”
In Luke 2:33, does your Bible imply that Joseph is the father of Jesus, which removes the virgin birth?
“And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him.”
In Luke 11:2-4, does your Bible remove important words in the Lord’s Prayer, including delivering us from Satan’s evil?
“And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”
In Luke 9:56, does your Bible that Jesus came to Earth to save men’s lives?
“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. “
In Luke 23:42, does your Bible the removed the thief’s profession of faith in Jesus as Lord?
Because the thief on the cross professed that Jesus was Lord (God), he was saved.
“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”
In Acts 8:37, does your Bible have this verse where the Ethiopian Eunich professed his faith in Jesus Christ as God?
“And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
In Romans 14:10, does your Bible remove another proof-text that Jesus is God, and that Jesus will be our judge?
“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.“
In 1 Corinthians 15:47 does your Bible remove the title of ‘Lord’ from Jesus, the second man; removing His deity.
The first man is Adam, the second man is the Lord Jesus.
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
In Galations 4:7, does your Bible remove that we are heirs of God ‘through Christ’?
“Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
In Ephesians 3:9, does your Bible remove Jesus as the creator, which confirms that He is eternal and equal to God?
“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.”
In Phillipians 4:13, does your Bible remove the source of our power, ‘Christ’?
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
In Colossians 1:14, does your Bible remove Jesus blood as our redemption for forgiveness of sins?
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins“
In 1 Timothy 3:16, does your Bible remove the statement that God was manifest in the flesh in Jesus?
This links God to all the things that Jesus accomplished on Earth, thereby equating Jesus with God in the flesh. We all appear in a body, so there’s nothing great about that. But God manifesting Himself in the flesh, that’s supernatural.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory“
In John 16:16, does your Bible remove that Jesus was going to be with the Father, which verifies that He is God?
“A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.”
In Revelation 1:11, does your Bible remove Jesus title of ‘Alpha and Omega, the first and the last’, meaning eternal?
“Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches“
Did the modern Bible versions take away all of the words and verses that validate Jesus deity?
Of course not, that would be too obvious. But God warned us not to take away any words.
Every validation of Jesus deity is a witness to us and to the lost world. So to say that it’s okay to remove some, because those same truths are found elsewhere in the Bible, is a wrong approach.
Your pastor may say that the Greek manuscripts don’t include these missing words or verses, but that is because Satan has infiltrated Seminaries and Bible schools, to cause them to use corrupt Greek Bibles which are also missing them.
Since these corrupt Greek Bibles are the foundation for the NIV and ESV, and they are both missing the words and verses, most Pastors never realize the deception. Satan is the great deceiver and he has been very effective.

I talk about the corrupt path of Scripture, which involves Westcott and Hort on this study: http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/bible-manuscript-paths/
As for exposing the darkness do Dr John Dee’s magic court and its affects on Queen Elizabeths court and the reformation..of the Church….check out if a Rosicrucian was on the compilation team for the Bible.Well after Jesus the Jewish leadership reviewed there scriptures and reauthorised their scriptures. How did that affect Bible translation? The Holy Spirit is essential for the translation process. It is not only a technical/academic process. Thanks. May your God go with you.
David,
I appreciate your site very much. Quite informative and educational, I refer to it
often. I have been preaching and teaching for over 49 years and a site like this
is refreshing indeed. Question, Have you ever heard of the Hebrew Roots Movement? The mixing of law and grace as was the case when Paul addressed the Galatians of the Judiaziers. We now have this movement that is quite popular due to the Israel first doctrine (Schofield etc.) It leads people back under the mixture. Such as we must use hebrew names etc. or we are disobeying the Lord.
The ultimate goal is to bring people completely back under judiasm.
The old order was destroyed and abolished in ad 70. Never to rise again.
The new order was established (you know all this as you have so well written.
Could you please search out and publish on your site the expose of the Hebrew
roots movement.
Thank you for your service in His Kingdom.
Charlie
Charlie, I’m not sure how you define who is a part of the Hebrew Roots Movement. What do know is that we have to walk a line between Roman Christianity, which teaches concepts which are contrary to Scripture; and the legalism of the Hebrew Roots Movement.
We should celebrate the seven Holy Feast Days, which Messiah is fulfilling to redeem His set apart saints. That’s not Hebrew Roots Movement stuff, that’s Scriptural. Easter and Christmas are not Scriptural, and are based on pagan traditions.
We should strive to obey the commandments, not for salvation, but out of love for our Heavenly Father and Messiah. That’s not legalism, that’s proof of our faith and love.
Revelation 14:12 points to keeping the Father’s commandments, “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
Sadly, Hebrew Roots Movement people take things too far, and condemn people for many things. On the other side, many Protestant Christians are following concepts which came from Rome, not Scripture.
We have to walk the line of following Scriptural on the narrow road of truth.
Keep learning and growing in The Way!
David
I agree that the sacrificial system was abolished by Messiah (even though some texts seem to hint at continuation of it after 31 a.D., like in Hebrews). I’m still struggling with some of the other commandments. Obviously we need to obey more than just the 10 commandments, I mean even the greatest command of all is not in the 10 commandments. Churches seem to cherry pick a lot, some are against homosexuality (rightly so) but they don’t celebrate the feast days or keep the sabbath day holy. Is there any formula to arrive at which commandments to keep and which have been abolished? When Paul says we are circumcised inwardly/spiritually, I’m very happy to follow that ruling (haha), but doesn’t that risk spiritualizing everything?
I think that we need to follow all of the commandments, but don’t have to observe the ceremonial law that the priests carried out as Messiah our High Priest is fulfilling the seven Holy Feast Days.
We should follow the ten commandments and Messiah’s explanation of them. We should celebrate the seven Holy Feast Days and Sabbaths.
And we do those things out of love for our Heavenly Father and beloved Messiah, not to earn salvation.
I am a Jewish believer in Yeshua ha Mashiach, whom you call Jesus the Christ. Please help me understand why the KJV changes the Tanakh?
For example; Hebrews 10:5 “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, ‘Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me’ ” is a quote from Psalm 40:6, but the KJV changes the verse to, “Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.” Why the change? What ears? This undercuts the main thesis the writer of Hebrews presents.
Hebrews 1:6 is also likewise a Tanakh quote, “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, ‘And let all the angels of God worship him,’ ” yet, the KJV leaves this important quote concerning the Deity of Christ out of the text, rendering it thus: “Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.”
The KJV in Luke 4:18 in red-letters as the very words of Jesus records, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” iwhich is Jesus’ quote of Isaiah 61:1, yet the KJV renders it, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound,” saying nothing about Jesus healing the blind. This makes it seem as if Jesus doesn’t accurately quote scripture.
Please help? Thank you.
Dr. Ramon, I’ve learned a lot since writing this article many years ago. I’ve found that the King James is a good translation, compared to most modern versions; but that it has shortcomings; including not including the Father and Son’s Hebrew/Aramaic names.
I now read from The Scriptures (ISR) and from the Aramaic-English New Testament, and they have opened my eyes.
What Bibles do you read from?
Great stuff
Thank you for your comment Carolyn!
