I think that one of the biggest deceptions is that the enemy has caused people to not understand the Father’s personal, covenant name.\u00a0\u00a0The enemy has conditioned people to call Him by the titles of God and Lord, and has pushed His name which is proclaimed in Scripture.<\/p>\n

The New King James Bible clearly admits that it changed the Father’s covenant name, “The Covenant Name of God in the Old Testament, represented by the Hebrew consonants YHUH is translated “Lord” or “God” as it was in the King James<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Why would they remove the name of the Father?<\/p>\n

Let’s start by focusing on Messiah’s name, as it’s a topic that is debated a lot these days.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

People debate about whether we should use the English Jesus, the Greek Iesous, the Hebrew Yahusha, or the Aramaic Yeshua; so let’s look at the history of the name Iesous\/Jesus.<\/p>\n

Millions of people throughout history have used the English name Jesus, including great theologians such as Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, Charles Spurgeon, John Gill, Matthew Poole, and many more. The preachers of the Great Awakening, in which they spread around the world and have great revival meetings in America, and spread Bibles around the world; used the English name Jesus.<\/p>\n

Today people use the name Jesus because they have not been taught the Hebrew and Aramaic names, which Messiah would have been called by His parents and disciples. We are blessed to have been shown the Hebrew and Aramaic names, but we simply cannot declare that people who use the name Jesus are lost.\u00a0 \u00a0All we can do is share the truth about the Hebrew and Aramaic names, and share why we prefer to use them, and let the Spirit move in people’s lives.<\/p>\n

But there are many people who’ve come out of Christianity, who are now condemning the Greek\/English name; and even proclaiming that you can’t be saved if you use it. They proclaim that Roman Emperor Constantine created the name Iesous Christos, and that it’s pagan and pointing to a false messiah; so let’s look at the evidence.<\/p>\n

People proclaim that Jesus Christ means ‘Hail Zeus<\/em>‘ and ‘earth pig<\/em>‘; but I’ve consulted with a believer who lives in Athens Greece; and she said “Absolutely no! Neither of them is true and I hear this first time in my life. No of course not.”<\/em><\/p>\n
