On December 2, 2013<\/strong>, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Monday morning with Pope Francis at the Vatican.<\/p>\n

He presented the pontiff with a copy of his late father\u2019s book about the Spanish Inquisition.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu presented a Spanish translation of the 1995 book, \u201cThe Origins of the Inquisition<\/em>,\u201d to Francis during their 25-minute closed-door meeting, as well as a Hanukkah menorah.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu\u2019s father, Benzion Netanyahu, was an Israeli historian who died last year. A Zionist activist who opposed partitioning Palestine between Arabs and Jews, he was best known in academic circles for his research into the Catholic Church\u2019s medieval inquisition against the Jews of Spain.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo his Holiness Pope Franciscus, a great shepherd of our common heritage<\/em>,\u201d the Israeli leader wrote on the inside cover of the book.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They both seem to take great pride in the times of the Inquisition, instead of looking at it as a horrific time when the Roman Catholic Church persecuted people they deemed as “heretics” mostly which were true Christians, not Jews.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu repeatedly brings up the persecution of Jews throughout history, but apparently the persecution of Christians is acceptable.<\/p>\n

He gives no indication of worshiping the God of the Bible.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You never hear him praise God for supposedly giving them the land of Israel after 1,878 years of exile.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And that is because he is controlled by the Jesuits of the Roman Catholic Church, who caused the modern state of Israel to be created, not God.<\/p>\n
