Steven Ben-DeNoon Misunderstands Prophecy Fulfillment

Steven Ben-Nun, who used to be called Steven Ben-DeNoon, of Israeli News Live; seems authoritative with all of his information and use of Bible verses, but I would steer clear of him, as he is teaching false prophecy fulfillment explanations.

Christians seem to blindly trust him because he’s ‘Jewish,’ but we have to compare what he teaches to the Word of God and the true historical fulfillment of prophecy.

In his Seven Seals of Revelation video on 04-11-20, he applies the seals of Revelation to the end times, which is  the wrong perspective.

The seal judgments were against the pagan Roman Empire, as Satan had used the Emperors to try to wipe out Messiah’s assembly of saints. They have nothing to do with the end times.

This Revelation Fulfillment Summary study gives you the timeline of the fulfillment of the seals, trumpets, and bowls; most of which have already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years.

In his The Two Witnesses: Jesus Untold Story of Who They Are video on 12-14-18, Steven Ben-DeNoon proclaims that the Two Witnesses of Revelation are Moses and Elijah.

That is not even close to the truth!

Messiah told us that the SCRIPTURES TESTIFY about Him. Messiah told us that His SAINTS would be His WITNESSES. The Two Witnesses are not just two men, but they are the Scriptures and the Saints, who testify the true Gospel, as opposed to Catholicism; and they testified against the antichrist beast Popes during their 1,260 year reign of power from 538-1798.

Read Revelation 11 – Two Witnesses

In his Shabbat LIVE: Who Really is the Antichrist? video on 06-08-18, Steven Ben-DeNoon debates the options of a supposed one-man antichrist.

The video description says ‘Vatican sends Cardinal to Bilderberg meeting and many still wonder where the Antichrist comes from tonight we examine these issues.’

The truth is that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the antichrist beast of Revelation.  It’s not just one man, but an office, just like the King of England or the President of the United States; and it has been fulfilled by many popes since the 6th century.

Steven Ben-Denoon is misleading his YouTube subscribers with his false prophecy fulfillment explanation.

In his Jewish Man Reveals Identity of the Antichrist video, Steven Ben-DeNoon gives a false explanation of the fulfillment of Daniel 11.

He proclaimed, “It’s the first time that we are aware that the identity of what is know to be the antichrist, or for Jewish people the ‘prince that shall come in Daniel’s prophecy, that we can literally discover and know who he really is.”

Seriously?!?  The Protestant Reformers and the great theologians of the 16th-20th centuries, who wrote whole Bible commentaries; all proclaimed that the office of the Papacy, the Popes of Rome, are the antichrist.  All of them, not just Pope Francis!

He wrongly assigned the ‘people of the prince’ of Daniel 9 to a supposed end-times antichrist.

The ‘people of the prince’ of Daniel 9 was the Roman army of Prince Titus, who were used to desolate the temple, city and Jews; fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel 9.  It is not about the end times!!!  Read The People Of The Prince Of Daniel 9

He proclaimed, “Recently such a scripture from Daniel 11 was fulfilled and the world went right past it. This fulfillment revealed the identity of the Antichrist.”

When Messiah said “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:“:, He was pointing back to Daniel 9, not Daniel 11, so the whole premise of this lesson is false!

The abomination of Desolation was the appearance of the Roman army in 66 A.D., which was the sign that the city, temple and Jews, were close to being destroyed.  Read The Abomination Of Desolation

He signed off with “I’m Stephen Ben DeNoon, with Israeli News Live, your prophetic moment.

You don’t get to proclaim that you’re not a prophet, when you sit there and provide explanations for prophecy fulfillment!  That is disingenuous!

Daniel 11 is not about the end times!!!  It gives the continuous historical narrative of events of the kingdoms of Medo-Persia, Greece and Antiochus Epiphanes, and then Rome.

Alexander the Great of Greece rose up and ruled with great dominion.

The Seleucids (kings of Syria, “the north”) and the Ptolemies (kings of Egypt, “the south”) had incessant wars.

Antiochus Epiphanes, leader of the Seleucids, the vile person, surrounded Jerusalem with his armies (the abomination of desolation) and killed 10’s of thousands of Jews. They defiled the sanctuary and caused the daily sacrifice to be taken away for 2,300 days (Daniel 8:14). His persecution of the Jews began in 171 B.C. and the temple was cleansed on December 25, 165 B.C., which is 2,300 days.

The Maccabean uprisings delivered the Jews in the reign of Antiochus, and faithfully served their people as rulers and priests for 130 years.

Roman King Herod exalted himself above all gods (leaders).  To protect his kingdom, he decreed for the slaughter of the babes of Bethlehem, in an attempt to kill baby Jesus.

Caesar Augustus conquered many countries such as Egypt, and took power of their treasures.

The Jewish Maccabean Revolt was a conflict, lasting from 167 to 160 BC, between a Judean rebel group known as the Maccabees and the Seleucid Empire.

The Seleucid Empire was a Hellenistic state ruled by the Seleucid dynasty founded by Seleucus I Nicator following the division of the empire created by Alexander the Great.

So once again, the prophecy fulfillment explanations from Steven Ben-DeNoon are false, and misleading believers.

In his Are The Two Witnesses Here? video, which was posted on 08-23-15, Stephen gives a futuristic explanation of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11.

The Two Witnesses are the Old and New Testament (the olive trees) which provided oil to the Church of Messiah during the church eras of Thyatira and Sardis (the two lampstands). They witnessed against the Popes of Rome during their 1,260 year reign of power from 538-1798 A.D.

The Roman Catholic Church worked so hard during the Dark Ages, at eliminating the saints and burning the Scriptures, that in 1514 A.D., the papal church pronounced them as dead.

And there was silence, with no opposition to Rome for 3 1/2 years.  All the while Messiah was having Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, read the Scriptures to measure what the Popes of Rome taught against the Scriptures (the rod, the rule). And he found that they are an apostate church, the Harlot church of Revelation 17.

Messiah’s message to the Church of Sardis was that they were dead… but then He told them to take action, to come alive again.  He was proclaiming that they were dead spiritually.  And they were after being persecuted so violently by the Popes of Rome.

And exactly 3 1/2 years after the witnesses were proclaimed as dead, Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis on the door of the Church of Wittenburg, which sparked the Protestant Reformation, which brought the true Church back to life.

And this led to the Scriptures being translated and with the advent of the printing press, being spread around the world in books (the little book of Revelation 10). And the witnesses took back control of the European nations which the Popes had controlled.

Here is the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 study which explain this in more detail.

So don’t listen to false teachers like Steven Ben DeNoon who don’t understand the fulfillment of prophecy, and thereby deceive you.

In his 70th Week Of Daniel Only Months Away! video which was published on Oct 23, 2013… Oops!  Steven said “When they make a covenant, to create a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, that’s where your seven year tribulation begins.”

The concept of a future 70th week of Daniel is a deception of the enemy.

The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D., when Messiah and His disciples preached the New Covenant to the Jews for seven years.  They confirmed that He was the promised Messiah who ratified the covenant made with Abraham, with His blood as the Passover Lamb.

.

In his ‘Pope Francis US Visit Sets Prophetic Stage’ video, Steven says that the Revelations Chapter 6 Horse Riders are set in Motion!

His wife told him that the first horse, the white horse of Revelation, is now riding. He said that the antichrist Pope is switching the crown of Revelation 6:2 from America to Russia.

The white horse represents the conquering Roman Empire, from 96 – 180 A.D., as it was a time of its greatest expansion and their military conquests were celebrated by riding white horses in their victory parades. Cretan Roman Emperors Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius, each had a bow as their symbol. The crown represents the laurel wreathes of victory that were worn by the Caesars after their armies had won a military battle.

He says that Russia is the new military superpower of the Pope, but the word of God declares that it is Washington D.C., which will be the military power of the One World Government.

Revelation 16 describes a great earthquake, which symbolizes political upheaval, in this case the biggest one of all, the formation of the One World Government.  The great city of Rome, representing the Jesuits of Rome, will be split three-ways.  The religion part is already based in the city-state of Vatican City; the financial part is already based in the city-state of London; and the military part is already based in the city-state of Washington D.C.

He says that the Lord shows him that Russia, is the Red army, which will fulfill the red horse in the second seal of Revelation 6.

The Red horse represents a bloody time in the Roman Empire from 185-284 A.D., as it went into a phase of revolution and civil war for 90 years, during which there were 32 emperors and 27 contenders for the throne.

To his credit, he says the Pope is the antichrist, which is correct; but he is only pointing to the current Pope; not the office of the Papacy, which is the antichrist sea beast of Revelation 13.

He applies the fulfillment of the sea beast to the present time, not the past. He asks who is able to war with the beast?

The answer is that the sea beast reigned for 1,260 years, 538-1798 A.D., when the Popes of Rome ruled over the kings of the world, and nobody was able to make war with the Popes during this time.

He says that the Pope will blaspheme against God.

This has already been fulfilled during their 1,260 reign, when they proclaimed to be God and to forgive sins, which are the two items by which Messiah was accused of blasphemy.

He pointed to the future and said that the Antichrist would make war with the saints.

But again, that was already fulfilled in the past, when during the Dark Ages and Inquisition, they killed over 50 million saints.

He referenced Jonathan Cahn, another false prophecy teacher, and Sid Roth, a deceiver; both of which are futurists; neither of which point to the Jesuits of Rome as the reigning power, and the enemy of Messiah and His Church.

He projects all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls to being fulfilled in the future.

The truth is that the riders of the horses in the seals of Revelation rode a long time ago, which lead to the decline and fall of the Roman Empire; from famine, pestilence and civil war. Read Revelation 6 – 7 Seals Overview

it must be very tiresome to answer all these comments from people that have not gone past the difference between anti semitism, which actually doesnt mean anything and zionism. I find your patient replies are proof of the fruit of the spirit. Some professing christians attacking and using foul language, all this opposition and hatred is really just satan trying to discourage you and tire you out out. I applaud your very scholarly research and will definitely study it. Truth is always logical, and the spirit bears witness to the truth. • Thank you Bridget! Yeah, it gets tiresome, but I just want people to know the truth about prophecy fulfillment, so I persists. The truth of the historical fulfillment of prophecy was taught by esteemed theologians during the 16th-20th centuries, who wrote whole Bible commentaries documenting it all. But the enemy has caused believers to not understand their witness, so they promote futuristic false prophecy fulfillment explanations.

Here is my Revelation Timeline Decoded website which proves that most prophecies have been fulfilled, which shows that what people like Stephen Ben-DeNoon teach is false. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/

Here is my 70th Week of Daniel study series which proves that it was completed fulfilled, after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D. when Messiah and His disciples confirmed with the Jews that He is the promised Messiah who ratified the Everlasting Covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb. http://70thweekofdaniel.com

    • So because I can prove that what Stephen Ben-DeNoon teaches about prophecy fulfillment is false, that means that I have a problem with Jews becoming saved? Seriously? That makes no sense!

The irony is that Christians say that they support the Jews, but the truth is that they are a stumbling block to their salvation.

Christians call the Father by the generic titles of ‘God’ and ‘Lord’; instead of His personal name, Yahuah; which Jews would understand.

Christians call Messiah by a Greek variant of His name, Jesus; not His given Hebrew name, Yahusha, which means ‘Yahuah (the Father) saves’; which Jews would understand.

Christians observe the pagan-based holidays of Easter (Ishtar) and Christ-mass; and they ignore Elohim’s seven Holy Feast Days, which Messiah is still fulfilling to redeem His set-apart people; which Jews still observe.

Christians ignore Elohim’s Holy Sabbath Day, which is an eternal covenant between Him and His followers; which Jews still observe.

Christians proclaim that the Law (Torah) has been done away with; but Messiah gave His followers the Father’s Spirit, to write the law on their hearts and minds, so that they would strive to obey it out of love, not legalism; but Jews study and observe the Torah.

Jews reject these ‘Christian’ teachings, all of which originated from the harlot Church of Rome. So who is the false teacher?

He’s the one who needs to be careful, because he is misleading people.

  4. David, All focus seem to be on the Catholic Church but what about the various Protestant Churches which in itself is an abomination. Everything goes because one is “under the blood of Yeshua”. It is so bad that there seem no place of fellowship available as I refuse to sit under such blasphemous preaching. Where do these Churches fit into the end times?

    Reply
    • Hi Rose 🙂 Sadly the Protestant Reformers did not come out of the Babylonian Roman Catholic Church enough, and since then the Protestant Churches have been infiltrated and covertly brought back under the authority of Rome. Today many of their teachings are contrary to Scripture, and directly from the Roman Church.

The Jesuits of Rome were empowered in the 16th century to counter the Reformation, to bring the Protestants back under Rome’s control. They did that through brute force, through persecuting and killing the saints, via the Inquisition.

And they did it by creating futuristic prophecy explanations, which pointed to an one-man antichrist in a 7-year tribulation period, in the end times. They did this to deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome, whom the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified as the Little Horn of Daniel 7, the Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the antichrist beast of Revelation 13.

It is those futuristic prophecy deceptions that have taken hold during the last two centuries, which now deceive most Christians. But the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D.; when Messiah and His disciples confirmed with the Jews for seven years, that He was the promised Messiah would ratified the everlasting covenant and atone for their sins as the Passover Lamb. Here is a Bible study series that proves that ALL of the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled, and none of it is future. http://70thweekofdaniel.com/

They have caused Protestant Churches to teach that all of the seals, trumpets and bowls of Revelation will be fulfilled in the future, during the last few years of Great Tribulation. But the fact is that most of Revelation has already been fulfilled during the historical battle between the Satan-empowered Roman beast vs. Messiah and His saints. Here is a whole study series that shows you what has been fulfilled, where we are at now on the Revelation fulfillment timeline, and what will happen next as we await Messiah’s glorious return. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com

When Messiah said to ‘come out of Babylon‘, He is not just talking about the Roman Catholic Church, but to everyone who is following their teachings, and that includes most every Protestant Church.

I was pulled out of Protestant Churches a few years ago, as I can’t set there and listen to them mislead people. Like Stephen Ben Denoon, most Protestant Pastors have sincere hearts and they love Messiah, but sadly what they are teaching about prophecy fulfillment is false.

I believe that home churches are the answer, as we can meet with like-minded believers. And I believe that it will be necessary in the future, as mainstream churches are controlled more and persecuted in the future.

When you look at Messiah’s words to the Church of Laodicea, which is the end times church age that we live in, He said that we are lukewarm, and wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. That describes Protestant Churches today. They think they see, but are blind. They think they are rich, but they are poor.

Messiah said “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” Revelation 3:18

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:19

And here is the promise to those who pursue truth and righteousness:

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:21

I pray that the readers of this article about Stephen will be granted eye salve, so that the scales of the Jesuit’s false prophecy explanations will fall away from their eyes, so that they can see the truth about Messiah’s glorious fulfillment of prophecy!

  5. Dear brother David, I enjoyed reading your explanations of the prophesies being discussed, I have also enjoyed the insights brother Steven brings in his reports on Isreali News Live. We are all searching for understanding and I do believe if we feel God has revealed something to us we share it, in Love. And we also correct one an other, in Love. Speaking in kindness for we may believe a brother or sister has miss understood something but we should keep harsh words for those who are true False Prophets and not brothers who may have gotten something miss understood , that’s not to my mind a False Prophet. I respect your life’s work and study I also respect Stevens life’s comittment. I think you’ve said you don’t doubt his salvation, then we must always speak in love to one another, if the Lord puts it on your heart to let him know you feel differently but that you love him never the less. Can I ask”who is the restrainer”.
    Thanks again Ali

    • Dear Ali, proclaiming that Steven Ben DeNoon’s prophecy fulfillment explanations are false is not harsh or unloving. It’s just the truth.

Would you rather me sit by and let people be misled by him, so that they are unprepared for these end times and Messiah’s return?

I’ve never said that he is intentionally misleading people. He seems to have a sincere heart. But that does not change the fact that many of his explanations are false, therefore he is a false prophecy teacher.

Here’s what we need to understand. The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and Bible colleges, to cause them to believe in the futuristic view of prophecy fulfillment. The graduates, who go on to become Pastors and teachers, can have the most loving, sincere heart… but they teach what they learned at school, which is false prophecy explanations.

Look at Chuck Swindoll, David Jeremiah, Thomas Ice (Left Behind), Hal Lindsey, etc. They all went to Dallas Theological Seminary, where they learned the Jesuit’s futuristic prophecy explanations. They all are false prophecy teachers.

Whether they are a wolf in disguise or a misguided sheep, they are teachers of false explanations of prophecy. So the end result is that people who listen to them are misled.

As for who is the restrainer, it was the Roman Emperor, who restrained the Popes of Rome from taking power. The Apostle Paul could not name the Roman Emperor as that would have invited persecution. But he reminded the Thessalonians of what he had told them in private.

Shortly after the last Roman Emperor was removed in 476 A.D., the Son of Perdition, the Popes of Rome, rose to power in 538 A.D. They sit among the followers of Messiah, which is the temple of God, and they proclaimed to be God.

Here is a Bible study about the Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2 http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/the-son-of-perdition-of-2-thessalonians-2/

Bible prophecy related to the end times mentions many nations, including Libya, Iran, Iraq Ethiopia, and possibly even China and Russia, but not the United States of America. One reason why the United States is not mentioned in Scripture is perhaps because the nation “might be devastated by a nuclear war or hit by meteors from planet X as it passes by.

To understand why I say that Steven is a false prophecy teacher, maybe you should actually read the studies on this website such as the home page, to understand my explanations, which are the same as believers throughout history; until the Jesuit’s futuristic deceptions took hold in the 19th century.

Read the Revelation Timeline Decoded study series and you will see that most Bible prophecy has already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years; and that we are in the midst of the 6th bowl, waiting on WW III and the formation of the One World Government.

  9. Steven Denoon does uphold the gospel and the teachings of our messiah. Although many prophesies were seemingly fulfilled in the past, it would be unwise to presume that these prophesies will not be replicated in the present or future. Whether it is true fulfillment or staged mockery of God’s word, prophesies are being fulfilled presently, and it is not unnoticed by Denoon or many others. I can only think of two possibilities for why this is occurring. Either an elite group of world leaders are pretending to fulfill God’s prophesies to advance their own agendas or many prophesies are truly being fulfilled currently. Both possibilities warrant grave attention that we may ready ourselves for what is to come. May your lamps have extra oil.

    • Thank you for your comment Paul. The enemy created the narrative of a future 7-year tribulation period, based on a futuristic 70th week of Daniel. But the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week, from 27-34 A.D.; when Messiah and His disciples ‘confirmed’ that He was the promised Messiah who ratified the ‘everlasting covenant’ with His blood as the Passover Lamb of Elohim. Here is a study that proves that http://christianitybeliefs.org/end-times-deceptions/70-weeks-of-daniel-covenant-deception/

The enemy’s deceptions are built around that false narrative, and they have caused most christians to believe that all of Revelation will be played out during the last few years.

So yes, they will use the leaders that they control to play out their deception, to make it seem like it is a legitimate fulfillment of prophecy.

This summary study will help you see that most prophecies have already been fulfilled, where we are at on the Revelation fulfillment timeline, and what will happen next as we await our Messiah’s glorious return. http://christianitybeliefs.org/revelation-timeline-decoded/bible-prophecy-made-easy/

Do you love your neighbors and fellow Brothers? You are battling the wrong causes, we are to come together not tear each other apart, that is what Satan wants, any of us that follows the Lords Word know the difference between words and prophecy. We do not have to agree on certain things, it is how we take it in, I know not to follow man. But it is ok to warn your fellow Brothers and Sisters instead of leaving each for his own. We are all worried about what is to come in our lives, to be a Prophet would be someone that the Lord would send to a King to warn him or tell him what the Lord wants of him, not someone that is trying to warn others of the times. Brother I have lived a rough life so far, I try to get close to the Lord and by doing that you get attacked and bad things happen to you, you are tested and go through constant tribulation, but I take it and choose the Lord no matter what. I have been to war, I have picked up bodies, I got out then I was picking up dead animals. All of this year I have been physically attacked but I still keep my faith to stay blessed. I have not attacked the character of Steven, merely his addressed his false prophecy teachings.

The hour is late and deceptions like he is teaching are causing people to not understand where we are at on the fulfillment timeline.

The enemy attacks not just from the outside, but from the inside. He causes people like Steven, whom people seem to blindly trust, to teach false prophecy explanations.

My assignment has me exposing false teachers. I take no joy in doing it, but I do it for the sake of the remnant.

Hopefully Steven reads this review and his eyes are opened to see truth in prophecy fulfillment.

So press on brother in carrying out your assignments from the Father, and I will do the same.

Take joy in your trials for they form your character and bring glory to our Father.

  12. I have learned a lot from Steven. Instead of finding so much fault with him, realize that he points out many things that he himself is just learning, and that he often States that it is his opinion, and there are many things that are revealed to him by comparing different texts, etc. He welcomes the opinions of others. He gets excited when he learns something new. The opinions of Steven are stated in this article as facts. If I were the author, I would be much more concerned about bearing false witness. Steven is doing what the Lord has led him to do. He is preaching Jesus to the Jews in a way they might understand. He also gives his own slant on current events. Why not?

    • Follow his teachings about prophecy fulfillment, be misled. That’s your choice. But I will not stand by and have people like him deceive those around me. He teaches false prophecy fulfillment explanations, therefore he is a false prophecy teacher. I bear witness against him. That doesn’t mean that I am judging him, for that is not my place. But I will point out that what he teaches about prophecy is false.

  13. We must be very careful in criticizing Steve. He lives there and he has good resources at hand.
Critics are usually anti-Semitic or Catholic. It’s good to identify one’s self.
I used to think he was hard on Catholics but he is no different than some others spouting opinions on the web. Remember, when he has an opinion on something he states that it’s his opinion. That’s not false teaching any more than listening to people like Alan Horvath or some others.
Everyone has an opinion – don’t agree? – check it out in the Scriptures.
